    Hey guys,

So my DBF and I are considering taking advantage of Free Dining by heading down to Florida for a 3 day weekend in September. We're college students who love Pop (and that it is Value season) and who move quickly. So, it would make sense for us to take a quick trip. Using our park hoppers, we'd do 2 parks a day. We'd get up at rope drop (which we do anyway) and stay until the park closes.

I guess my question is this,
I've never done a trip where we haven't spent a whole day at each park. How do you go about planning a trip where your time has been cut in HALF?

Let me know what your experience has been with a SHORT trip.

I don't post here much (just lurk), so I don't know if there are better ideas. But, we found the touring plans in The Unofficial Guide very helpful...they give you the order you should do the parks to really maximize your time to avoid standing in lines, etc. On our last trip, we were able to get all of the really 'big and important' stuff done well before noon. We didn't HAVE to be done by then, so we were able to go back and do rides two (or more!) times, sit and people watch, or try some other things on our wish lists, etc.

TourGuideMike has touring plans as well, and I definitely suggest finding out what he says in regards to which parks to do what days (crowd levels).

    Have a great trip!

I MIGHT be wrong, but I think Free Dining for for a 5night/6day WDW vacation. At least that is what the commercial keeps saying.

    Good Luck!

The promotion fir Free Dining applies to stays of 5 or more nights, as PP said. DH are going to do 2 days at Disney in August, and I had the same question about how to maximize 2 days. I love the Unofficial Guide and visited their website ( to see which parks were recommended for the days we want to go. I already have a 2 night reservation at AKV using points rented from another DISer. We will use our Give a Day vouvhers to get dream FastPasses at the Studios and MK, to help maximize our time. Other suggestions would be helpful.

We are going in Sept, 4 days/3nights and are getting free dining, already booked through Small World Vacations. The promo says 5 nights but it is available for as few as 3. Enjoy your trip!
