How to make $3600 on your disney vacation! WE DID!! NEW 9/3*The Epilogue, DONE* p. 54

Yee Ha Horseygirl what a fantastic thread you have going on here.

I didn't want to post until I had read all of your posts so far and this weekend with DH at the Open and DS sleeping peacefully in bed I have now had the opportunity. I haven't watched TV but have relaxed and chilled out in front of the PC reading your trip report.

I thank you for your honesty and your humour.Your descriptions of the cold weather in Maine have made me feel chilly even though it has been 27 degrees here and my heart was in my mouth reading about EE.

I am sending :grouphug: to your family to allow you the time to get onto your PC to post these highly amusing posts of your special time in Disney with your wonderful family. I don't know how you find the time with three small children and a menagerie but as you are a very kind person I am sure that the comments made by your fellow DIS'ers (or second family as my DH refers them to) spurs you on.

Thank you once again Horsegirl, you have made my last 2 evening with no DH at home seem less lonely
Clare x

Hi Horsegirl
Just wanted to say that although I have been away for a little while, the treat of your report was worth coming back for, fantastic description of Splash, my absolute fav ride in WDW, I could feel it in my stomach while reading. Hope you had a wonderful weekend.
(BTW, know what you mean about crazy DIS dreams, poor Zzub, I bet he wakes up the morning after reading this and runs to the mirror just to check his teeth are still there :teeth: )
Keep it coming, I leave in 10 days and would hate to come back with a report that would steal your thunder before you're finished :rolleyes1 Only joking, don't think I could if I tried,

Great Installment. I am caught up without getting too far behind.
I am also glad to hear that you are headed back again soon - if I can't go, then at least I can read your fabulous trippies and have a "mental vacation". At least until I drive DH into booking another trip...he keeps saying it will be sooner than I think! I think I will try using your report to get my DD on more rides next trip too - that is an excellent idea!

The approach up, to where you knew the drop would occur. I became panicked and wanted to stop the log. I became sweaty and began breathing fast. My mind searched for a way off. I scanned my surroundings and saw it. A landing spot, just at the base of the incline. It was clearly used by the cms to unload or load onto or from the logs. I looked at Sky. Could I grab her and jump onto the landing safely, and therefore avoid the treachery ahead?

I know the exact spot - the only thing that kept me in the log was I knew If I left my DD21 in it by herself she would kill me!

Great report - can't wait for the rest!

I'm starting to doubt it. When's the other $1600 coming, woman?

I'm beginning to believe that you are - like my ex-boyfriend - stringing us along! Is that what that lasso is for? :teeth:

But, hey... I mean hay, I'm enjoying the drag (even though it feels like the rope is tied around my neck!) :yo-yo: (My goal is to use every smilie -in correct context - and the yo yo smilie was the closest to a smilie with a rope around it's neck. :confused3 )

If you keep writing, I'll keep reading. Now that's an offer you can't refuse :smooth:

Hi horsegirl

Still loving your wonderful writing, and I have to tell you that you've got me so hooked on these boards that "There's No Turning Back Now" popcorn::

My DD enjoys your report so much that you have inspired her to write her own trip report after our upcoming mother/daughter trip to the world!!!

Hoping to see more from you soon...... :)

Thanks, you! Okay, so I get the realism...I always think I am a dullard, so I interpreted it as I put you to sleep! :teeth:

To sleep?? No way! I was actually satying up way later than I should have to read everything, DH thinks I am a nut anyway :rotfl:

Have fun on this up coming trip to Diz! You know now you will have two TP's to write! LOL

What? Horsegirl, You're going to Disney again, and this TR isn't finished? I mean I'm getting ready to have my second trip too and I'm still waiting........ off into the sunset :confused3

Horsegirl! Where ARE you! This trippie is looooooong! Do you remember you havent finished it yet? Your groupies need closure, speaking for all your groupies was a brave move,eh? My "holiday" is Sept. 5th-14th and I couldnt wait to start so I did a PRE-pre(pre)Trip and it's really fun but I have a funny feelin I'll have mine done before yours, even though I started my thread with like 45 days before the fact! Now there's only 34-ish more days but STILL. It's a sham! I'm posting craft ideas and recipes and commercials...like Martha Stewart only in a bad way.
Yours has been my favorite piece of writing so far! Love it. You have quite a fan club. Please tell us the last of your big savings. Just throw something together (ha-ha, now I realize it's not THAT easy!!!)
You might also like the TR by TwinkieMama-She's really funny too!!!!

Shameless trip report plug, Utah Mama. Just shameless! :sad2: :lmao:

Oh NO Sneezie! I AM shameful but I didnt mean it that way (not like a free commercial!). My TR doesnt exist yet. BUT twinkie's does. And it's abso-smurf-ly great! She's a hoot'n'holler!
There's aLOT of good stuff about to DIE on the nether-pages of the Trip Reports List!
Sneezie's gonna write a terrific one in Sept!!!! (he-hee!)

hay horsegirl, just checking back to see if my favorite author has added a new chapter. I leave on 8/22 and I'll be out of touch for 8 days. So come on how about a little more sugar? :sunny:

Alllrighty. I finally decided to join the DIS, as I keep wanting to comment on trip reports - yours especially. My mom (gibmom) has been a DIS'er for quite awhile.

I love the detail you put into each chapter! You really are a great writer! Usually, that amount of detail would get very tedious coming from a beginner/amateur writer. Yet you hold my interest all the way through!

Though I admit that the title was the main reason I clicked on this thread, your skills at writing and your horses kept me here. :goodvibes
I am a horse person, too. Or at least a horse person IN TRAINING.

Keep up the good work! :thumbsup2

Well Horesgirl, another great installment. Im starting to get that pre-stomach flu feeling everytime I think about hauling our "precious" 4-some onto American Airlines in 19 days!!! :scared1: Do you have any suggestions for panic attacks? :rotfl: Do you think its even legal to take 4 small kids to WDW? Are you there the same week we are?? If so, just look for the mom and dad who are totally overwhelmed, and the 4 kids driving us there... :goodvibes

BTW, I will be telling them my DD who is 2, and has major allergies needs two new comforter covers... :lmao:

Wow, this has been interesting. I just started reading it and thought I would be able to read it from start to finish....Now I will patiently wait for more...keep them coming. Thanks.

Lisa

We excitedly move into the Magic Kingdom. Do you know what we saw? Many, many miniature people dressed in character costumes with no coats! Please tell me you were not there without a coat for your kid on February 13th. For the love of Penguins, IT WAS COLD! Most of the parents had coats, long pants, and the kids? Flimsy little princess dresses and sandals, as they are the appropriate footwear for dresses. I swear I wanted to grab the drapes from all the restuarants and disperse them to the poor kids to wear, like Maria did in the Sound of Music. I tired to put their frozen extremities out of my mind and focus on my cold kids, who were in their standard in-the-stroller-covered-in-blanket-being-toted-about mode. They were happy. I was happy too, as long as I averted my eyes from any oncoming liliputians, scanitly clad.

:rotfl: You are TOO FUNNY! We were there the week before you and it was a little chilly in the AMs. Our 1st day at MK, my DD6 had on her Cinderella costume with a longsleeved T-shirt and capris under it. And she wore her purple and white Nikes (for COMFORT and WARMTH). Walking down Main Street one of the "mini characters" we met, said to her mom: "ooohh...look Mom, I like her costume...but her shoes just don't go..."

Luckily my DD takes after me and could have cared less...
