How to have romantic dates at home?

Not so much for the cooking dates but other times dress as if you was going out, shower make up the whole deal rule is you gotta wear something from your closet no go buying more clothes for home dates or free dating.

That alone will show your DH that date nights are important to you an maybe help keep him interested. If cooking a fancier meal an doing a candlelight dinner once dinner is cooked an ready to serve go put on that little black dress or whatever you would wear to a candle light dinner out.

Let's see, you've got "bake an apple pie" and "hike in the Adirondacks" already. Do you have an airport nearby where you can watch planes take off? Any free zoo days or places you can watch animals? Is there a park or place nearby that starts with an A? Maybe an arboritum? Go watch a free athletic event?

Here's my grand idea, but it would have to work just right. I have a friend who plays acoustic guitar and sings and we have a nearby park with a little amphitheater. It's always deserted. If I pulled the right strings I could have a killer date.

The book, Alphabet Weekends by Elizabeth Noble, is on this subject. It's fiction and might not give you any budget ideas but it was a good read.
