How to go from WL to Trail's End Buffet?

Checking in to ASSP on 9/22...No park visits that day, but going to Trail's End at Fort Wilderness for dinner...Bus from ASSP to MK, then boat to WL...Does anyone know if the way to Fort Wilderness from WL will be by boat? If so, how long of a ride will this be? TIA for any insight...

Usually, the same boat will also stop at Ft. Wilderness marina. Then walk up to the main area and Trail's End will be on the right side (beside the HDDR).

Make sure you board the boat going to Ft Wilderness from the MK (you don't need to go to the WL)...just exit the boat at Ft Wilderness and head up the walkway to the large structure on your left. (ship leaves MK dock every 15 minutes or so and it is maybe a 10 to 15 minute ride to Ft Wilderness)

If you have time before dinner be sure to walk through the barn (where they keep the Main Street Trolley horses) and the petting zoo....both are just past the building where Trail's End is located also on your left.

It is a lot of fun to go over there and eat and wander around....a great first night activity!!

At some point in the day,the MK boat changes from going, FW - WL - MK to WL - FW - MK. Another option is to take the launch that runs the CR - WL - FW loop. I think they run two launches, one going CW and one CCW in this loop. To make a long winded explanation short... if you see a boat come in from the FW dock, it is going somewhere else before going back to FW. If the boat comes from CR or MK then the next stop will be FW. Confused yet?
