How to get to DTD?

We are staying off site and renting a car. Is there anywhere to park near downtown Disney, or can you get there through the park transportation system?

There is lots of parking around the DTD shops. You won't have a problem parking at DTD.

1) There is a lot of free parking at DTD (though some of it is a looooong walk.)

2) If you want to use WDW transportation, there are no direct busses from any of the theme parks to DTD. There are busses between the theme parks and the resorts, and between the resorts and DTD.
