My lovely DD3 wrote with ink all over her sister's best Barbies - her Fairytopia and Cinderellabration ones - the ones that still have pretty hair! She scribbled all over their faces and I can't get it off. I've tried hair spray, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and other cleaners and it barely lightened.
Does anyone know what I can use to get the pen ink off of these dolls?
Thanks, Donna

Perhaps try rubbing alcohol? I am not sure.

Rubbing alcohol is what I use to get ink off clothing.

I swear by Goo gone it does wonders! :cool1:

I second the Goo Gone suggestion and also recommend Goof Off, although I would try Goo Gone first. Goof Off is pretty strong and might damage the Barbie.

When I was a kid I'd draw mustache's on all my Ken dolls from time to time with pens and sharpie markers. I was able to get them off with a rubber eraser.

I used to restore Vintage Barbies & if all else fails, put some zit cream (benzyl peroxide) on it & leave it for a bit.. keep careful watch though; the 'skin' can get too bleached.

Although I've never tried them on a Barbie, I find the furniture wipes I bought at the Dollar Tree will clean almost everything...except furniture! They are much to damp to use on my wood tables but they take grime off of everything else. I love those things.

When I first read the thread title I thought it said "how to get ink OF a barbie". Thought you were wanting to get inked with a pic of a barbie. I wont read the title so fast next time. My bad!

Thanks everyone. I'll try some of these suggestions tomorrow and let you know. (I'm at work until midnight.) She couldn't draw on the nappy Barbies! It had to be the ones that were still in good condition. And interestly enough, she only drew on her sisters' Barbies - none of her own! Now you know why her nickname is Trouble!
