How to get from SSR to OKW?

We're checking in to SSR this coming Saturday, 1/1. Wanted to hop over to OKW to see the new pool slide. I was hoping I'd see it "in action" but I guess it won't be done yet. What's the best way to get there via Disney transportation? Is there a walking path (lit since it would probably be dark)? Take the boat? How often does the boat run?

You can take the boat from SSR to OKW- it runs hourly from 11am until 4pm and then every 30 minutes until 11pm.

There is also a walking path- cross the golf cart bridge (just past the marina) and follow the paved walkway to the right along the canal all the way to OKW. It's about a mile to the back of the resort and then another 15-20 minutes up to the main pool (or just get on any bus at South Point and ride up to the pool area).

You can also walk to DD and hop on the OKW bus.

If you time your trip right, the boat is the best option. Takes you right to Hospitality house and the slide!
