I would like to know how I find out if there is a concert playing 12/16–12/19. I am asking because I planned on upgrading my children's tickets to seasonal passes but I see there are blackout dates for seasonal passes on concert days
One option would be to buy a 4 day park to park ticket and upgrade it to the seasonal pass on the 18th after you enter your final theme park of the day or even wait and upgrade on the 19th.

Can I upgrade them while we are at the park on the 18th? Or no bc the concert is that night? Wasn't sure if it makes a difference if we are already in the park.
Thanks Macraven I will do it on the 18th before we leave the park for the day. If not I'll do it on the 19th. I was just afraid of forgetting during my rush of packing everything up, taking everything to bell services and going to the park for our last day. You guys are sooo helpful on these boards!!
I will say all of this is assuming Universal doesn't change their policies. But like macraven said, upgrading on a blackout date and staying in the park should be no problem. I did it myself over New Years 2015. The only caveat I alluded to was once you upgrade you no long have a ticket to get into the park. You can stay in the park if you upgrade at guest relations in the park. But you can't park hop (or ride the Hogwarts Express) or leave and return for the rest of the blackout day.
