How to do mobile order with TIW discount?

I am planning a trip in August and have seen that most places requires mobile order, but I am wondering then how the TIW discount can be applied?

I just did a mock order in the MDE app for the food court at POP Century as TIW is accepted there. In the order summary page, there is a link "Where Is My Discount?" you can click on and it takes you to the Disney website, where the following is listed:

"Q. How do I apply discounts to a mobile order?

A. Discounts are not available for mobile food or beverage orders at this time."

I know they do allow some payments to be made at a register kiosk. Maybe explain to the CM at the location that you would like to apply your TIW discount and that you need to pay at the register in order to do so.
