How to change my plans!?

I know th e title sounds a little vague but I have a trip planned for the end of Sept. I currently have a room only discount for a Cl at BWI that they added the dining plan and park hopper tickets to. This turned my room only discount into a package (I was only required to put a $200 deposit down). After thinking things over I think we would rather get an Annual Pass, not do the dining plan but get a TIW card instead. We are planning on returning in Feb. for at least a few days and with the food and wine festival going on at the time of our stay in Sept. it sounds like a better plan.

Ok that's the easy part. How do I switch things is the hard part. I don't want to lose my room only discount or my room at the BWI but I need to drop the package part and I assume pay for one night's room as a deposit instead of the $200 deposit. Also when do I have to purchase the AP and the TIW card? Now or when I get their and I haven't booked any FP+ yet but will I still be able to at the 60 day mark or not? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I know the Disney line CM don't always have the correct info. and if I don't know what I'm asking for I don't want it to be a complete mess.

If you're outside the 45-day window, you can drop the dining plan without penalty. Keep the tickets/package, then upgrade the tickets to APs and buy TIW when you arrive at Disney.
