How soon do buses pick up at Theme Parks to go to other Parks?

If you go to an Early Entry Theme Park and ride just a couple of rides, how soon do buses pick up at Theme Parks to go to another?

The buses don't pick up at one theme park and then take you to another. You'll either need to transfer to another bus via bus, monorail or boat.

For example if you want to go to AK from MK the best way would be to take a boat or monorail to one of the MK resorts and then pick up the bus to AK from the resort.

The monorail will take you to the TTC from MK, then you have to get on a different monorail to get to EPCOT at the TTC...of course this works in the opposite direction (going from EPCOT to MK), but you still have to transfer monorails. (no bus needed here though)

When parks start to close you'll need to transfer buses in DTD.

It seems to me that I took buses directly from one theme park to another, with the exception of the MK. From there I had to take the monorail to the TTC and catch the monorail to Epcot. But, it's been a few years.

Monorail from EPCOT to MK or MK to EPCOT: From MK to AK MGM Monorail or Ferryboat to TTC then bus: From AK or MGM to MK bus to TTC then Monorail or Ferryboat to MK: From MGM to EPCOT Bus or Boat: EPCOT to MGM bus or Boat ( If you take Boat between MGM and EPCOT this is put you at International Gateway)

There are busses (or other Disney transportation) between the parks. They wouldn't sell park hopper passes if there weren't


There are no busses between the parks and DTD. There are no busses between resorts.

The park to park busses start operating from the TCC when the other parks open.

The park to park busses are scheduled to start operating from Epcot, AK, and MGM several hours after the other parks open.

If you are at one of these parks and want to leave earlier than that, tell one of the bus drivers and he might be able to call dispatch and get a bus to take you to the other park.

Park to Park buses start service at 8:00-8:15am. (Actual arrival time may vary)

It should be noted that there are no park buses out of the MK. Those buses are out of the TTC instead. There are NO park buses to or from Downtown Disney.
