How realistic is it to go to WWoHP on a Saturday?

We've never done US before, and our primary interest is WWoHP. We'll be in Orlando for 12 days - the first two weeks of June - but I made ADRs months ago, way before we knew which parks we would be going to on which days. Because of circumstances beyond my control (a cousin who can't get here till June 2 and an aunt who has to leave on June 5), the only day we have available for US is Sat, June 4. However, we have ADRs at Chef Mickey's that morning at 9:25. I tried changing the ressies, but we have a party of 9, and I haven't been able to find another morning that can accomodate us. (Only 3 of us will be going to US; the rest are having a rest day.) Assuming we get out of Chef Mickey's around 11, and get to US by 12, will we have enough time to do WWoHP? How outrageous are the lines on a Sat in June? We would love to squeeze in other rides too, but the only must-do on our US list is HP.

Honestly, your best bet is probably the last few hours before closing.

Most likely, you may end up having to take a ticket to come back at a later time.

But if you do go, I would try and not bring anything, or wear cargo shorts w/plenty of pockets, or a miniscule fanny pack. (Be noticeably empty handed)

I'd probably do the castle tour, then go back through as a single rider.

Then just before closing go through the regular queue line to catch anything that was missed.

Check out this link for further details.

Honestly, leaving the Contemporary Resort and getting to Universal and through their maze to the IOA and then you only have one day and it's a Saturday. Really,,,,

Those going to IOA really should skip Chef Mickey and be at the gate 30 min. before opening.

Unless they are perfectly willing to handle the possibility they won't get in WWoHP. It is possible. I would hope they at least would get a time to come back and wait in the 2 hour lines but who knows.

That's all very true. I think June is going to be busy every day but especially weekends and getting to IOA that late is really going to put a hitch in park plans.
