Virtually every day. At the latest 10-15 after rope drop. Usually 10-15 minutes after there are no lines are the turnstiles.

Strangely enough, we've never made a MK rope drop. That's usually a hop-to-later park. Although we've been there for AM EMH.

I'm like a pp,we may not arrive for the build up to opening, but we get there within 10 mins.
Lines and groups of people squashed together have dispersed, and it's a breeze.
Simply Wonderful.

Within a 14-17 night stay,we will be there early 12-15 mornings.
It's the only way to rock.:cool1:

I voted never with no plans to since "I did it once and won't do it again until my kid is old enough that they can convince me otherwise" was not an option

We go on relatively long trips, but we rope drop once at each park and take it pretty easy the rest of the time.

Every day, except for arrival day (earlier flight gets up to the parks by noon) and departure day EMH, because there's no way we're packing, checking out AND getting to the park by 8am

Every day.

We learned during our first trip as a family that it's the approach that works best for us.

Rarely. I've done MK once, Epcot once, TSMM twice, AK never. All have been solo or with newbies. DBF would never...

We do RD on our HS day(s) as well as 1 of our MK days. That being said, we don't get to a park any later than 9:15am so while we do miss RD 90% of the time we aren't far behind!

We go to rope drop every day with EMH on non EMH days we take a break and do water parks or DTD.

Funny you should mention this. Least night DH was talking about our trip to my parents and how we got to the parks so early (one of the 1st in line for MK and DHS) He said at first he was like, why are we here when no one else is??? Then he told my parents how quickly the line seemed to fill up and how it was nice not to be in the middle of that huge crowd:goodvibes So next time we go back we'll be at RD most mornings again I'm sure:cool1:

I do my best to make RD every day except for Epcot. Especially if there's EMH, or it's a short trip!

Coming up in Sept we have a longer trip so we have a few days of sleeping in, but we also have 3 days in a row of am EMH to utilize. I find you can do so much more in the morning hours! I also have a huge love for the MK rope drop show!!

Everyday. Without fail. My son is not always happy about it, but once we get to the park he is glad we beat the crowds.

Every day unless we run into a problem...

However, even the day our toddler locked himself in one of our adjoining rooms and maintenance had to come break the latch, we made RD at MK. :)

We have annual passes and live like 1 hour and 45 mins away. We usually never make it to rope drop unless we are staying at Disney but most of our trips are just day trips and we usually make it to the park around 9:30 am.

It's rare for us to make rope drop because we almost always close the parks the night before or are up late for some other reason. However, we often make it within the first 15 minutes to half hour of opening. This makes it easy to knock out half a dozen rides at MK or DHS within the first hour before the park really fills up. Getting to the park early makes all the difference in the world, as hard as it can be getting up!

We never rope drop...we prefer to sleep in, go to the parks mid morning and stay through closing.

EVERY day! Only time we miss RD is if we're arriving after it from home (we generally drive down over night and arrive at the hotel by 6 and make RD but occasionally we'll drive down overnight and not arrive until (gasp horror) 10 / 11 am - then we just head directly to the parks.

Also do EMH RD. We are there for low crowds and Disney fun - we can sleep at home!

We do RD everyday. But I think the results might be a little skewed on the DIS, Disers tend to be a lot more gung ho than the average park guest :p
