Always! We accomplish so much in the first two hours. I can't even dream of sleeping when there is all that fun to be had!

We always rope drop and stay til close (unless we feel done at DHS). We never head out for a break. But - we only tour parks every other day and chill out in between.

Never, no matter how much I want to. And unless I get a divorce it's never going to happen. My DH will never, ever, no matter how much I beg, get up and out in time to make rope drop. We've managed to leave the resort at the time the rope is dropping in a given park but never managed to be at the gate. It's pushing it for me to get him out at 9:00. He hates nothing in this world more than getting up early when on vacation.

My next trip may well be just me and my DGD. If it does happen, then I'll finally have my dream of making a rope drop

You don't have to leave together. The best morning my DBF and I had at Disneyland in March was when I made rope drop and he stayed in bed. I got to do the Space Mountain stampede, he got to sleep in, and we met up in the park later that morning. Of course, it all depends on which you love more--your favorite ride or your spouse. And frankly, Space is Space :)

No plans to. We did it once in the 20 years we've been going and truthfully haven't figure out what the big whoopie dee doo is about.
We rarely go during packed times so I'm sure that makes a difference but in all my trips I've always manage to "get every thing done" with out rope drop and eat TS meals without ADR's.
go figure.

No fun for us if everyone is at the gate, mad and pissed because we're out of bed at 7 am on vacation. LOL

This.

We aren't morning people. My favorite early morning attraction is the cool side of the pillow.

We only travel during peak time and I'm envious of people who can travel non-peak time. But when you are there at the week between Christmas and New Year's you have to make rope drop or you are not going to have fun day. Usually, we go for 9 to 11 nights and I do plan a couple late night where we sleep in those days and then, go see the night time shows. A great park to do this is in is Epcot. We just tour Worldshow case and rope drop is at 11 am. Then, stay all day and see the show afterwards. Then, the next day do a water park or shopping at DTD if too cold and then, go to MK to see the night time shows there. But sleeping is when you are at home on the weekends LOL..
