How often do you prefer to be paid?

DH is paid weekly. I have 2 seasonal jobs. The one in the summer pays bi weekly and my winter job pays biweekly now too but in previous years it was weekly for everybody in the winter but in the off season the full time staff was bi weekly. It seems like a pain to switch payroll twice a year but i'm sure they had their reasons. Maybe that is why they switched to biweekly for everybody.

I do not like weekly paychecks but our financial situation has improved enough to where it isn't a big deal anymore. I don't like weekly because one check isn't enough to do some things with. Like one of DH's weekly checks would cover the mortgage but not the mortgage and groceries. I always found more of a cushion with biweekly.

I've always been paid either every other week or on the 1st and 15th. I really don't care but less frequently is better for me and I prefer my wife and I to be on the same cadence so the money management is easier.

Once you adjust to the schedule I don't really think it makes much difference.
