I have been looking into a 7 day cruise and it seems pretty spendy! We are booked on a 4 night right now and we could do that twice and still have money over the 7 day! My question is what did you pay for your cruise? I'm wondering what kind of deals are out there.

I would also recommend that you check out CostCo if you have a membership. If you don't have one, the savings on the cruise would be worth the $45 they charge.

I checked with DU and All Seasons. I know others have found great prices, but they couldn't beat the price that I could get online. As a matter of fact, DU was higher than DCL until they applied their "rebate" to the price.

CostCo saved me about $250 on a Cat. 9 for the 4 day Wonder in November. That just about covered the cost of the REAS that I wanted since this will be our anniversary.

A lot has to do with when you go. We are going in September and the prices are the lowest of the whole year (so if you can go then, you will get the best deal).

Next year, due to some changes in our lives, we will have to go at peak seasons and I am anxiously waiting to see the 2006 rates to see what 'early booking' looks like for cruises during peak seasons. I don't know what we are going to be able to afford during these times.

So if you are flexible, go in off season. If you have to go in peak seasons, try to book when the dates come out, the prices will be the lowest they are going to be at that time.

Cat. 12 rooms only hold 3, you will need a Cat. 11 room for 4.

Just a quick look at All Season's Travel website:
http://cruises.allseastravel.com/c/5/5738/1800641_5738.htm#9-3-2005

A Cat. 11 with 4 in it (assuming the kids are 12 or under) will be $2649 from them. You can get quotes from other places like Dreams Unlimited, and Disney Cruise Line directly, and all the others people have mentioned. All Seaon's is just the 'quickest' because they post all of their quotes online.
