I have to be at LEAST at 50% - but I venture to say higher. :teeth:

I work for 5 minutes, Dis for 5 minutes, work for 3 minutes, Dis for 10 minutes...

Start a thread that gets my wheels turning, and I might be Dis'n for a good 30 minutes before I go back to a 3 minute work session, and back to Dis.

GOOD LORD! :confused3

Well? ADMIT IT! How much *work* do you really do all day long? :smooth:

What on earth did people do before internet was in every office??? Poor things... ;)

I can't Dis at work. They block it. I'm thinking of changing jobs.

I sure as heck would - what kind of working conditions is THAT???

Yeah - find a new job - thats absurd. :thumbsup2

I just hope that my company can't see how many hours my computer is on this site. Sometimes I have it minimized and forget it's on. It may be on all day.

I can't log on to the DIS in the morning or DS would be late for school. (I'd insert the little LOL smilie here, except I'm not joking; he really would be late for school if I DIS'ed in the morning.)

I think we'd be able to cut our work staff in half, if we eliminated internet altogether....

Ahhhh well - thankfully no one has mentioned or suggested this yet. :ssst:

:disrocks: It's like a drug..... it comes in as a close second to Disney, itself... no?

We just got an email from the network admins at work that beginning on Friday, we will only be able to access .gov, .edu and .org domains!!!! I don't DIS during work hours, but what am I going to do at lunchtime?? I spend my lunch hour surfing along :surfweb: . What oh what am I supposed to do now? :confused3 Maybe I should change jobs too :lmao:

I know! I'm thinking of reporting them.

Hoo boy! Brace yourself for time clock police to come galloping in to tell you you're a slacker who "steals" time from your company! I 100% don't agree, but I've seen threads like this go that way before!

That being said, I DIS way more than I'd be comfortably admitting to anyone! I used to DIS at work, but now that I work from home, I can DIS whenever I want!

Try typing in - the adress bar - just the IP address:

130.94.75.33

No http:, no www - just: 130.94.75.33

See if that works.... (I have a feeling it might)

EVery computer, server, etc - has an I nternet P rotocol adress - it identifies itself from all the other PC's, servers, etc - out there.

You can (usually) use an IP to get to sites you cant get to...

:thumbsup2

I DONT PLAY when it comes to the Dis. :teeth:

That's one of the stupidest policies I've heard in a long time! What if you needed, for work, to look up a phone number on the yellow pages on the internet? Or, how about if you needed to book a hotel for a business trip?

Now, I can understand monitoring computer use and curtailing internet access for misusers. But, there's a lot of valuable information on the net that you could be using for legitimate reasons.

How would one find such an address if one is so inclined? Not that I am, mind you. (That's just in case 'they' are watching!)
