Our trip is 7 nights at BWI in a 1 bdrm, as new DVC owners =) Hubby, myself, and our 2 boys age 12 and 4.
Room- 1600 down payment plus dues (prorated) for the year = 1900
Tickets- 1317 from undercover tourist
Airfare- Free....hubby works for Jet Blue
Meals/Souvies- approx 2200?
=5417 approx.
Our trip next year will be cheaper since we are only paying our DVC dues for the year.

Why would you elect to spend that much money on vacation and then say you want to cry? I doubt anybody is forcing you to go or stay in a deluxe.

i wasn't too shocked by what we are spending so I am pretty pleased with our cost. NOT that it isn't a lot of money, but I put in the budget for 3500, and was way under. That wasn't including gas, etc.
We are staying AoA. Sept 21-29.
We booked under FD it was the QSDP but upgraded to Dining Plus
We have a 6 day ticket with park hopper
$2600.00
Our ride down gas will be 294.00.
We have the kids buying their own souveniers from their spending money and anything extra they want. We realy have never bought anything out of pockets except for a few ice cream bars or such, but nothign crazy at all. I would add an extra 100 on spending.
We were booked at CSR, and it was 2900, but when w were able to get in AoA, we decided to try that out.

Right now airfare would cost us $1800, but we are waiting to see if Southwest is cheaper. With airfare, could be more like $5500. Come on, free dining or PIN!

Rental Van for the day (pick up at TPA, drop off at Disney same day, we are going to visit grandma/greatgrandma for a few hours in Tampa area) not paid for but prices are anywhere from $60-$180
Caribbean Beach resort (2 rooms) $302 for Friday night room only discount
Caribbean Beach resort (2 rooms) with 8 day MYW hopper passes and FREE Regular Dining plan $5,481
Flight home on SW from MCO to BDL, $17.50, used points for all 7 of us.

It's fun to see what everyone has booked and what they spent. But it seems that the feeling is all the same....no matter if we spent $1500 or $15000, or we feel or 
after seeing the numbers, we all say it's worth EVERY penny. And it must be as we all do it again and again!

Just knowing that our DS16 still wants to go on vacation with us is priceless.

We made it just barely under budget!! Family of 4 traveling at the end of August.
Airfair 1398.00 from upstate NY.
Room at POFQ (6 nights)

Just under $4000 total including airfare. We don't do many souveniers, kids have their own spending money. We have a $200 disney rewards card for tips and extras.
Figure about $600 for Universal for the day too, including tickets, meal and transportation there.
Yikes. Last time we went in 2006 we were able to do it ALL under $3000. Air fare was much cheaper, we stayed at CBR.

5 nights BWI CL (booked w/spring promotion): $2244
1 night AKL standard view (booked w/summer promotion): $300
10 day park hoppers through UT: $1375
Food/spending: $2000 (fortunately I have a large portion of this covered through gift cards)
4 RT flights, SW (SO expensive--one was free!!): $1400
Barftastic grand total: $8379
Hopefully we'll be making some good memories!
