Interesting reading this and seeing the varied costs. We are up this year for sure. Our son broke 3 years old, so now we are "paying" for 4. We still got a decent deal, but it costs are up. We are almost paying this year for a moderate stay, what we paid last year for the same days at the Wilderness Lodge. this year totals, we drive from PA, so save a ton on air, but...

11 days\10 nights at Riverside
10 day park tickets (no hoppers)
Free standard dining plan

Total cost for 4 of us = just under $3200. We'll send $500 on gas and stuff going down and back, so add that, but still saving roughly $800 on air.

It's starting to get more expensive every year, and it's starting to worry me a bit! I'm also starting to think we need to stop they yearly visits, and start putting a bit more aside for college, LOL!

I haven't been to WDW in almost 4 years so I can't compare it to my last trip since I don't really remember.

Going Sept 23-28

Staying at Port Orleans French Quarter- River View Room 5 nights/6 days
1 Adult

I got a MYW package with the free dining plan-
6 day park hoppers

$1,426.81

Airfare was $225.00 with taxes/fees non-stop roundtrip from Atlantic City to Orlando

So total would be $1,651.81 for the whole trip.. not bad considering a River View room with the dining plan would have really cost over $1700 without discounts or FD and I'm paying less than that with my airfare included!

June 9-16 at Swan $ 1051.17

Bought annual passes 1 adult 2 kids 1570.88 ( going again in Sept )

1 day tkt for my husband who is arriving the last day 90.53

airfare total for the 4 of us 980.00

2 week car rental 406.00

2nd week in FL we'll be in the keys in a house rental ( 975.00 )

this is an exp. trip!!

MYW Package at Pop Century 5/27-6/2 (6 nights) with 4 way base tickets. @ adults/2 kids = $1664
Room only for 5/26 = $147
Ticket upgrade to 7 day base with waterpark and more = $336
Gas = $300
Food = $800 (we are bringing some things and doing mostly quick service)
Kids spending money = $100

4 people for 7 nights Memorial Day week = $3347

Plus about $100 for trip supplies

Please only post if you want to. I just compared my 2011 vacation and we are paying more of course. But our biggest increase was airfare.

So list your dates, resort, Dining Plan, Tickets and air. Feel free to add anthing else.

Ours is for 2 adults and 2 disney kids

11 Days at POP Century Standard room

Free QSDP total with the first night being a room only 2449.00

Airfare direct flights out of Manchester 1076.00

A fellow Mainer! Or should I say Mainah??? :lmao: I live in Augusta

My package was: April 28th through May 4th
6 nights at All Star Sports
4 Magic Your Way Base Tickets
Table Service Dining Plan
around 1600.00
Airfaire: 502.00 for me ant DD8
340.00 spending $$
So my total with souvenirs came to $2442.00

3 Disney "adults"(we have a 10 y o ) and 2 children:

7 nights w/ the dining plan for 5 people at POR garden view (35% mil discount) 2300
6 nights w/ the dining plan for 5 people at BC garden view (40% mil discount) 2835
Tickets 6 - 4 day military hoppers (bought at ITT office, cheaper than advertised price) 813
Tickets 2 - 8 day discounted hoppers (will buy from SOG) 612
------------6560

eta: gas will run us about 450....so we will say 7000 for a two week trip total... for 5 people (lodging, tix, food, and transportation).

I have earned about 1000-1200 (I lost count once I got close to 1000) in "free" gift cards over the past year as well (bonus Target GCs from Dh's work, bonus Target purchase GCs, Target coupons utilized before Christmas buying GCs, DMR redemptions, etc.). Some of that went towards our reservations, the other portion is our spending/tip $$ for the trip.

We also have a Universal day planned using our tix that don't expire until 2014 and wp&m tix from last year that don't expire until September of this year.
==========
eta:
Last years trip was
7 nights at POR w/ dining plan (but all 3 kids were 9 and under then) 2100
4 day hoppers w/ wp&m 840
universal tickets (which we are still using this year and can until 2014) 798
gas 400
=4138
so we've added 6 nights at a Deluxe, another "adult" on the dining plan, twice as many tickets and a slightly higher gas cost for $2862.

Interesting to see everyones prices :)

Sister and I are going this year (late Nov) and paying:
$680 - hotel (1 night POP/ 3 nights SSR)
$500 - airfare From Philly
$595 - 4 day PH tickets
No dining plan

Total - $1775

Every vacation I go on, no matter where I go or what I do seems to run in the $1,000/day range. This trip is looking to come up to the same.

We are: Me, DH, two kids 15 & 13

POFQ 7 days/6 nights Garden View
7 Day base tickets
Quick Service Dining Plan
Trip Insurance

$3,488 (could have shaved $300 off if we had wanted to switch over to CBR)

Here's what we are budgeting for next year, so not this year, and before discounts.

9 nights/10 days - POR water view (or 20% off if no FD) > $1,900
flights > $1,600 - $2,000
food (hoping for FD, but not planning for it) > $1,000
5-day tickets > $1000
MNSSHP > $250
Car rental > $350-$400
Misc. > @ $500

Total > @ $6,000

We will be there the morning of 8/6- evening of 8/10
Total of 5 adults 1child
Staying in a 2 room SV suite 1 adult is DVC and had lots of points to use up $0.00 for us.
Flight DH is flying free DD and I are about $460 for the round trip. Other adults paying their own way.
We did the disney deluxe dining plan. For the 3 of us was ?? I think close to $1000.00 for the 4 days but I may be off on that.
Tickets were great 4 day hopper pass plus 1 day a Sea World (my dad is retired marine and going on the trip) so for DH and I it was 420.00 Grandpa and Grandma wanted to pay for DD's tickets.

Everything is paid for already and all reservations are made. Now we are saving up for tipping and other extras. DD got Disney GC's for her birthday and has been saving up any extra money for shopping while we are there.

May 26-June 2
6 days MYW w hoppers
2 adults 1 12 year old and 1 7 year old
DDP
$3260

Flight Round Trip $1100

Last year trip w free dining and 6 days tckts and hopers $2800
Gas $400

Forgot to add that we have $200 reward dollars on our Disney Visa (I put my tuition on it to build it up quick) and a girft card from a friend for house sitting for spending. And each girl has their birthday money for their "happies".

We flew for our first two trips then decided to drive last year. DH said after that he will avoid driving from now on b/c " three females and one guy in the car is too much estrogen for him!:crowded:" LOL!!! I think he's trying to say we are too hormonal for long car rides, hmmmmm.:rotfl2:

We are staying at Fort Wilderness Cabins Sept 10, leaving on the 14th. 4 nights, 4 day park hopper tickets and free dining plan for 4 adults -- $2556. We are driving from Louisiana as it takes us about 13 1/2 hours and we arrive in Orlando the night before and stay in a decent cheap hotel. Then we drive on in and go to a park to start our 4 days. Gas costs less than $300 round trip for my Honda Pilot so around $2956 total w/ our extra night hotel, gas and Disney. :cool1:

Dec 9 - 14, 2012
AoA - Little Mermaid
4 day non-park hopper
QSDP
2 adults, DD9 and DS1.5

Using Delta FF miles for most of the flights from Cincy to MCO. :)

$1760 - Room , Dining, tickets

----------

Cheapest WDW trip ever...

Hope i can come down from only having done moderates/deluxe in the past.
Very curious if AoA is the "premium Vvalue" resort.
