How much is your 2012 Disney Vacation costing this year?

POR Royal rooms 8 nights - 2 rooms w/free dining, 3 adults, 2 children: 5162.25
Car Rental - minivan for 8 nights - $200 (using Amex vouchers to make up the difference, would be around $600 otherwise!)
Misc, souvenirs - 500
Plane tickets for four people, flying premium seats on United - $1400

= $7262.25

Here's mine:
2 adults, 3 kids 9/20-9/26
First 3 nights at WL standard room
Last 3 nights at BWV (rented points)
DDP and 6 day hoppers

Air on Jet Blue (2 free flights courtesy of AMEX points)

Total: $4052

My May trip was about $4500 for 2 adults at WL for 10 days..no dining plan and park hoppers.

My December trip is $840 at AoA- one adult, 5 days, 4 nights with park hoppers. I'm staying in a Little Mermaid room..

Total: $2250 for two adults

6 nights at CSR, standard room
6 day basic park tickets
Free dining
That is $1700
Plus----
Airfare on United: $550

Going Sept 15-21

My revised total $2917

I had a three night Dream cruise and three night Wdw for around $3500 but decided to do free dining at AoA for 6 nights instead. Much cheaper and I finally get to see holiday decor.

AoA LM room 3 disney adults, 1 child. FD pin with 5 day park tickets- $1932

Gas- 300

Holiday inn night before- $0 (rewards points)

3 nights Destin Condo on the way back to Houston- 385

Spending money- 250 (i dont spend any money at wdw since I have free dining and we cook our own food at the condo in Destin.

Total- $2917

Much better price and I get a longer trip.

Which One???? We are going for our fifth time....

2 kids and 2 adults - Grand Floridian Aug 31 - Sept 3 (3 nights)

We have leftover tickets

Gas and Tolls - $80

Room - $536

Food / spending money $300 (we eat a lot in the room, at least 2 meals a day - but this includes pick-a-pearl and other stuff I know I will want)

TOTAL = $916 - Not bad for a Grand Vacation!!

...because I added one day and decided to fly instead of drive. :lmao:

This is for 2 adults

6 nights/7 days at Pop with 6 day MYW non-hopper tickets, FD upgraded to regular DDP = $1533.20
Airport hotel for 1 night = $60
Airfare with Jetblue = $355.20
MNSSHP X 2 (maybe?) = $119.18
Garden grocer order/souvenirs/tips/misc. = $400

GRAND TOTAL = $2,467.58. This could possibly go down another $120 or so if we skip the party.

Wow...this added up to a lot more than I initially anticipated! This is supposed to be a budget trip, too! :scared1:

We are going for 10 days/9 nights in November (my dh, ds and I). My budget/actual costs (for some parts which are confirmed);

Art of Animation Cars Suite inc 7 days park passes and free dining - $4000
(Will add Waterparks once we get close to the trip if the weather looks good for about $150)
Airfare - $2300 (waiting for a sale and hoping to get it down to closer to $500 a ticket which will cut this part down to $1500)
Legoland - $180
Car Rental (possibly for the whole time, but maybe for just a few days) - $300
Extras (souvenirs, character meal for ds's birthday, extra food not inc in quick service plan) - $1200

Should be between $6500 and $7400 total depending on whether we get Waterparks, how long of a car rental, souvenirs, how much extra food we need above quick service plan etc, etc.

We are going from Sept 6 to Sept 17 (12 days and 11 nights since we get in by 9 am and are not leaving until that night on Monday:cool1:)

CSR for 11 nights, free regular dining, 10 day park hoppers with Water Parks and More
DH, Myself, DS17, DD16 (we purchased the insurance too) 4023.00
use all Disney transportation
Airfare RT 800 (was really excited to get nonstop for 100 pp each way)

We always figure around 300 for tips, we do not do much other then new kitchen towels since we go a few times a year so take about 800 total just in case.

so approxmiate 5600 but this our last trip as a family for a bit since our son is a senior in high school and is going into the Air Force.

Mine started out as a sort of budget trip. Then we upgraded to CSR so that all went out the window.

I will say I so wish we lived closer so we could drive. Well we could drive but that 1000.00 for air is well worth my dh sanity. I don't think my dh would surive 24 hours in the van with 3 girls.

Yeah, I can't say I blame him though. My DFi was dreading the 17 hour drive and it was just going to be the 2 of us! :lmao: I lucked out with cheap flights from JetBlue though. At only $89 per person for a one-way ticket, I couldn't resist! And later I figured that if we were going to fly, we might as well extend the trip so...

We budgeted for this trip to be no more than $1600 total. The basic package I started with was totally budget-friendly until I decided to add the little upgrades. Yeah...bye bye budget! :(

Watching my Little Guy experience the "big kid rides" for the first time... Priceless! :yay:

Working on a price but ours is cheating really, we have the DVC AP we used in the spring and they are burning a hole in our pockets. Also have DVC points to use up. Been seeing Airtran airfare for around $230 direct roundtrip. Kids are older so we can go anytime things align-but this trip is looking very inexpensive.

Hoppers...........N/C (AP)
Deluxe room......N/C (well DVC dues so maybe $75 per night, $525 for 7 nights)
Airfare.............$230 ($920 for 4)

Total $1,445 plus food.

I'm going to assume that our 16 year old exchange student is considered an adult...

3 adults, a free 2 year old (happy dance)
6 nights at CBR
4 MYW base Tickets,
FREE DDP= $1978

Gas approx: $300. We have to use premium gas, and I guesstimated $4/gal.
Dog kenneled: $126
Tips, food during drive and 2year old meals- $275
$600 for spending money.

Total- $3279.

After looking at that total I could pay off my car :( it could be the only time our exchange student may ever get to come though. I will just suck it up.

3 Adults (Me, My Mom, DH), 1 Child (DS), 1 Under 2 (DS) turns 3 while we're there!!!!

August 16-25th @ POR: $1520
9 Day Base Park Tickets (3 adult, 1 child): $1100
Food/Souvenirs: $500 Disney GC (gifted to us) $1000 cash saved over past few months
Flight: $138 (only needed 1 RT ticket for my hubby, rest of us are driving)
Gas for Drive: $300 (based on current prices, I have a Jetta, great gas mileage)

Total: $4058 (didn't include the $500 GC since it was a gift)

We are paying for the room/tickets/transpo for my mom, but she is bringing her own money for food/souvenirs. We wanted to make sure she could have a vacation this year, she deserves it. My father is a disabled vet and is physically unable to make it this year :(

egads...more than our trip to Hawaii at the end of October!

but less than our trip to Scotland next spring. :)
