How much is your 2012 Disney Vacation costing this year?

We've booked our dream vacation... Me, DW, DS10, DS6, DS0

November 1st - 15th
14 Nights at the Grand Floridian in Club Level
10 Day PH
DDxDP (upgraded from DDP Free Dining)

$12,800

We're not sure if we are driving or flying yet, but I'm really looking forward to this one!!

That is an EXCESSIVE amount of food.. woah.

Lemme see .... about $3800 for 6 nights / 7 days at WL standard room with 2 adults and 1 kid (Disney adult) with free dining, airfare and trip insurance. Our travel group is myself, my sister and my DD. (Edited to note that I forgot to include tips on the TS portion of the dining plan - I dunno - no more than $150 or so in tips?)

That includes food (we rarely pay additional OOP when doing free dining), two airfares of $380.40 each (I used a companion ticket and got DD's airfare free) and 7-day PH tickets.

Souvenir money is VERY little - DD usually gets one big item and one small item (which she pays for with money Grandma gives her - last time Grandma sent $50 and she came home with money left over). Sis is planning to buy one item - a crystal Cinderella slipper she had her eye on last time we went!

AND I'm already planning what our NEXT trip will cost. DD was looking at the WDW planning DVD and really wants to stay at Pop Century next time, so if we can get Pop Century with free QSP dining plan for the same timeframe (late August 2013), I can get two free tickets on Delta with Skymiles for $60 (taxes), $1350 for room/2-day tickets and then we'd hope to get YES tickets for about $220 each for the remaining park days for a total of $1800 for two people for 8 nights / 9 days.

Edited: I have about $800 in Disney dollars currently on my Disney (Tinkerbell) Visa, and hope to have enough by the time of our August 2013 trip to pay for a substantial portion of the trip.

:goodvibes My husband and I are lucky enough that we are both stay at home parents and don't have a job outside of the home. We have been truly blessed.

We are so excited about this trip and can't wait! :woohoo:

Please write a trip report after and as always... Lots of pictures!! :goodvibes

Have a great time!! :woohoo:

In two weeks - with airfare for 4 people from Hartford, 8 days and 7 nights at the Grand Floridian Club level and deluxe dining, 8 day park hopper tickets, this will cost a bit over $9,000. Does not include spending money. Ouch.

It is really interesting to see the different styles and costs of WDW vacations..thanks for starting this thread!

I guess to some, $100k isn't much to spend on a vacation :thumbsup2

2 adults 1 dd 5. 11nights bc cl lv about 4700. with military rate. we have the tiw card for dining, so about 1500 max in dining. spending cash at least 600.00. we live 3 hours away so we r driving. so this trip should be about 7000.00. I am pretty sure this is our most expensive trip yet. though we have stopped going so.often, so we are saving money.

Trip will be me, DH and DD(4). I guess since all our reservations are now made I better add it up. I haven't been to disney in 20+ years. Growing up we always stayed off-site and either camped or at a super budget hotel. So this trip is somewhat my 1985 dream come true!

Hotel + Park Tickets: $4,600
5 nights at the WL in a Deluxe CL Room + park hopper tickets

Plane Tickets: $75
Southwest booked with points

Food and Souveners Estimate: $1,100

Exotic Driving Experience for DH: $620

Total: $6,400

August 17 - 24th. 2-adults, 2-teens

2-BR BWV : rented almost all last years points which will cover the Maint. Fees for the points used. OoP COST - $0.00

Airline: SWA 4 @ $270 = $1080

Tickets: Y.E.S. Program. 4 @ $200 = $800

Meals/Spending: $1600 available from Disney Visa points. OoP COST - $0.00

TOTAL COST: $1,880.00

Love it!

Dates Sept 8-Sept 15
2 adults 1 under 3
CB
7 day PH
Free Dining
$1864

RT flights -$30 (booked using RR)

Rental Car- $150 all week

so about $2000. We stayed at POP last year so our trip was a little more expensive this year.

3 Nights AoA LM room with free QS dinning/2 day park - $1115
3 Night cruise on Disney Dream/ 2 OV rooms $200 OBC- $1988
Driving from Houston/ Gas $350.

We have been to Disney and DCL a few times so we really don't buy anything while there.

Grand Total- $3453

Finally getting to see WDW/Disney Dream during the holiday season- Priceless

We will visit 3 times in 2012. we are DVC members and I'm only including the cost to us which are expenses for myself, husband and our son who just turned three in june.

1. We went in May and stayed at OKW for 5 days and went to vero beach for another 4. That trip cost us total - about $3500 or so.
room - $0
food - $2000+
tickets - $500 or so.
gas - $200
stuff for the kid (haha) $800 or so. (this includes pictures, snacks, toys, rentals, etc)

2. we are taking advantage of the free dining and staying at the Polynesian for a week over labor day - about $6,600.00
total package including gv room, 5 day tickets, upgraded free dining to deluxe - $4,100
Pirates and pals - about $150
hotel room at the dolphin the night before (we want to have all of our first day there ) - $150
dining extras (gratuity, alcohol) and stuff for the kid (obviously I'm guessing) $1000?
gas - $200

3. staying at bay lake tower for 5 nights in december
I'm guessing we'll spend around 2500 - 3000 based on what we did at okw/vero and the fact that this is a shorter trip.

$5000 for five days, not including souvenirs. This includes airfare for seven LGA-MCO, a minivan, two rooms at AS Sports, four day hoppers for four (three already have), one day legoland tickets for four (buy two adults, two kids free), one day park to park hoppers for three to Universal.
