How much is too much?

I agree that Disney is a lot of money. Dbf and I have planned our entire 5 day disney trip( onsite with DDP) for 1500. We paid our 200 deposit, and have figured that 26.04 a week each is all we have to pay to go. That is hardly a lot of money.. My dbf works part time and while I work FT as a medical records coordinator, we made less than 40,000 combined in 2011. Before deciding on Disney, I price checked many different vacation sites, and Disney was by far one of the cheapest. I agree that there is much more out there, but Disney allows for a "payment plan" option. We had almost 8 months to pay for our trip. I think it makes it a lot easier, because there is only 2 of us. But even when we have children, I hope there will be a way that we can offer a family vacation every year.
