BCV $60 per point 2002 (received and rented the first years points at $10-actually paid DVC $70).

Add a couple of bucks a point for closing costs.

We are buying into SSR. We really like the longer contract. We don't have kids yet, so we figure by the time we have grandchildren we will still have quite a few years left on the contract. Also we lucked out and got the Sept use year we wanted.

We bought in February, 2002, direct through DIsney at $75/point. If you compare that to the $98/point paid yesterday (granted it's for more years and I don't know how to put a price on that) the per point price has increased 30% in 4 years.

Seeing how much the points have increased over the past years make me feel so much better about buying in at $90 a point. With the price increase of $101 and the possibility that the $8 off a point incentive will end we have saved $1650 buying in now instead of after March 31. Dh will be happy to hear that.

$62.50/ point at OKW in 1997.

We purchased 240 points at VWL in October 2001 at $75 per point.

For us the DVC is totally worth the initial cost as well as the yearly dues. We love the flexibility of the program and the deluxe accommodations, but at Disney as well as through exchanging.
