Oh you guys will have so much fun. Happy Dog are you announcing Christmas '11 and I missed it? I can't keep track of all your trips now! Talk about someone who should buy points



I would LOVE to do Christmas '11, but it won't happen. Thanksgiving maybe but I'll probably hold out for Jordan's Peepfest/Evan's 13th and the two would be too close in DH's mind.

Oh no no no, not me, not yet anyway! I have to enjoy this summer and MAYBE next fall (WHO knows) and then the following summer on the Dream before I could even remotely suggest Christmas there again!!!! I am really trying to make a fall getaway happen... but the waters are not ready yet, I have to strike when the timing is right... A BB in June, well that is hard to pass up! Free Dining, well, that is hard to pass up for the F & W!!! We'll see. It happend this year, maybe I will luck out!

I'm afraid with our predicted 2inches of snow and 8 degree high, we will have school unless we get a layer of ice below the snow. So I'll be hoping for some ice.
I have the Mickey Jammies picked out just in case though!
For us it's either 6 inches or ice to get school called off.

This year the promo's went out all the way up to Christmas....so chances of a discount are not totally out of the question.

Glad to hear it's good so far. I read "Mirror Mirror" which is about Snow White by the same author as Wicked and found it to be very slow going at first and while I really enjoyed Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister I haven't attempted the other 2 Oz books he has. This sounds promising!

I plan on reading it as soon as Marc finishes. Basketball tournament this weekend between games seems like a perfect time!

Couldn't you just postpone the Thanksgiving trip until Christmas?

With us, it only takes an inch and we're out. Ice gets us out immediately. The trouble is, our area sometimes gets overlooked by the snow gods. Everyone for miles around will get something and be out, but we'll have some sort of invisible shield that keeps us snow and ice free, so we have to go to school. I will be very happy for the predicted snow day, but I won't be one bit surprised if we do not get it, either.

Okay well turns out I might be at the pajama party...they are calling for snow here in FLORIDA...really this is why I moved from Alaska...it is so cold here. It felt like 14 yesterday morning so no calling me a pansy people it was COLD!!!! So if it does snow I'm not going to school with all the people who think they know how to drive in Snow in FLORIDA...I'll curl up in my Mickey PJs with you guys!!!

The snowbanks here are almost as high as our car. The kids are lovin' it though! Takes a LOT to get Minnesotans out of school though, the plows and sand trucks get out before anyone wakes up and they take care of the roads.

It's currently 7 degrees. Suddenly, the 42 degree weather from New Orleans isn't sounding so bad....

Well you're just a hop and a skip down the interstate from me. Do you have family there? I'll be visiting that gracious city next month to see "Mama Mia". Can you tell I'm excited?

Nope, we don't have family there...we went for a wedding, the couple is from California, it was a destination wedding and FANTASTIC! Seriously, awesome wedding. The City was a lot of fun too, even though it was too chilly to enjoy being outdoors for too long - we had left our winter coats here in Minnesota!

part of why I ask is a serious phobia about puking in public toilets. It's bad enough when you get a little back splash from your own porcelain throne...but a public one. ewwww...

And then...you lost it and went back to the Winkers I adore!

My sister went out for a big Bar Crawl on her 21st and spent 2 hours at a convenience store bathroom praying to the porcelin God. I mean you see cleaning crew on airplanes and at the airports so you know you have a good chance of it being not flea infested.

But a convenience store?

For the love of all that is holy! You and the last 398,765 transvestites, limo drivers, poopy pants children and their meth head mothers have visited that toilet since it was last cleaned.

For the next...ohhh... I don't know...till yesterday...and she is now 31..I keep going up to her and inspecting her cheek...asking how the rash is doing and how amazed I am that the medication for facial herpes works so well. That you can hardly tell.

It is really funny when I do it in front of others at the grocery store or restaurants!

It's unusually cold here now too. One of the girls I work with is getting married in New Orleans 3/2012. The receptions is going to be at one of the old hotels near the Quarter. My daughter has dreams of getting married at St. Louis Cathedral.
