I'm trying to figure out what kind of commission I would have to pay on a DVC resale. ********** charges 10%. I can't find information on what others (DVC by Resale and The Timeshare Store) charge. Does anyone know?

Are you buying or selling?

10% at Fidelity. They seem to be the place to go for cheaper p/p contracts and they don't mind to negotiate for you:)

Ok, 10% of what exactly? The actual selling price? With all the associated fees like closing costs and dues, etc, that can really jack up the bottom line. Maybe that's why the other resellers don't want to take low-ball offers, it affects their bottom line. :)

The cost of the points, not including fees, dues etc.

It is 10 percent of actual selling price excluding any closing costs or maint. fees. Seems it would be better for seller to take less per point and get buyer to pay more maint:)

The seller normally also pays the $50 estoppal fee to Disney.
