How Mister Disney and Mr. D's K-Man lowered the nightly average cost for dining

Cici's in Orlando are hit or miss, the ones near Diseny are pretty decent.

I detest Golden Corral, but the one near crossroads is pretty good!

When you trying to feed a large family, it's nice to know the cheap, decent, all you eat places in the area.

I too was shocked that Mr. Disney and the K-Man actually dined in Cici's!

Alas, we don't have very many photos to share of the food....and we tried TONS of things....

They had a very very nice salad bar with a ceasar style salad and a regular iceberg lettuce style salad.

Cici's also offerered a macaroni sald, potato salad, a "pasta station" with both a red sauce and white "alfredo" sauce.

Everything on the salad bar was crisp and fresh.

I tried the pasta with some "alfredo" sauce....thank goodness I didn't take much of it....I like my pasta "al dente" and this pasta was done a LOT more than that

All the while we're enjoying our salad course at this fine dining establishment we kept hearing:

Please tell me that you didn't try to macaroni pizza. DD loves it there. DH and I try to avoid Cici's as much as possible.

Moving on with our "friend", Selbst Dienst showing us to the entree offering this evening, we are AMAZED by the sight of at least 10 maybe 12 different styles of pizza pies

Ham and pineapple
Pepperoni
Plain Cheese
Chicken Alfredo
Sausage and mushroom
Veggie

and an amazing variety. If you don't see a pizza you want....CiCi's will actually make it for you!

and yes....

Please tell me that you didn't try to macaroni pizza. DD loves it there. DH and I try to avoid Cici's as much as possible.

We LOVED CiCi's when we were in Orlando... the price tag is shocking!!

I just gained back the 3lbs I lost this week mentally eating that macaroni pizza...my brain says no but my stomach is groaning 'YES YES YES' a la Meg Ryan!!!

Now....I know for myself that pizza is a VERY personal thing....

Those nasty chewy deep dish pizzas just don't do it for me,

neither do those burnt around the edge ones with hardly any cheese from real italian rastaurants with wood burning ovens......

So having said that? I really thought Cici's Pizza was good.

The crust and cheese are what do it for me....and the crust on CiCi's was tender and crispy without being burnt....

We tried a variety of them, including an interesting buffalo chicken one, a really yummy chicken alfredo one and the usual pepperoni (I Liked their pepperonis also....no too spicey..)

So we get our fill of the entrees and move onto dessert!

They actually had a couple of "dessert" pizzas.

One was an apple cripsy sort of thing....nice and tasty with apple slices, crumbles and some carmel drizzle.

The other dessert pizza was a chocolate sort of thing, we didn't like it...too rich....

ALL TIME FAVORITE though would be CiCi's Cinnamon Rolls made from pizza dough.

YUMMY!

How can one eat just ONE of these heavenly buns, drizzled in liquid white sugar?!?!?!

This is just cracking me up! CiCi's here is so YUK--I had no idea it was decent in Orlando! You guys even made the salad bar salad look pretty and nicely arranged on your plate.

I will unashamedly say I love me a frozen Totino's pizza...no other frozen brand is quite the same.

DESSERT ... Did someone say DESSERT... I think heard someone say DESSERT ... in between all the "WELCOME TO CiCi's" "WELCOME TO CiCi's" "WELCOME TO CiCi's"

Well, one thing we've forgotten to mention is that we forgot to wear our Buffet Pants. SO, knowing I'd be getting some later, I held off on the Cinnoman Buns and saved what little room I had left for the apple crispy sort of thing. It was fair to moderate, but nothing like Bistro de Paris. I only ate 3 pieces. Afraid of being Welcomed to CiCi's one more time, I sat out the rest of the meal, making note of all the well prepared patrons who HAD worn their BUFFET PANTS!
