How Many Rides on Pirates of the Caribbean are Enough? Now Completed 11/4/10

I agree there is something extra special about Wishes. Always makes me teary eyed. Though I did think the Summer Nightastic fireworks were fantastic! I'd seen them at a Pirate and Princess party too. I love how they make it look like the castle is on fire.

DS loved how they made the castle look like it's on fire. There's just something about Wishes, though. It seems like I'm home.

If that makes sense.

Definitely read it! DS looks like he's about the right age to enjoy it too! And, I think I've found a new viewing spot for those fireworks! Thank you :thumbsup2

He might be--Sweetie loves to read, too!

Mine too! And I think I'm going to try to score the same spot you did. Fingers crossed. :goodvibes

It was just a few minutes before that we got that spot, so you can get it.

I have faith in you.

LOVE Wishes!......

Love Soarin' even more.....popcorn::

It makes perfect sense! I get that feeling of being home too when I walk down Main Street:goodvibes

I see the ticker now!!!!! Where is the PTR??!!!!

I haven't booked yet! I'm waiting until 7 days before payday--which will be Thursday. Then I'll call and put the 7-day hold on it, but I've booked my ADRs including the Candlelight Processional Package for the 19th. I just love Trace Adkins. :cloud9:

Yay!! We booked ours when Whoopi is there which will be fun!!! I haven't started mine since I have my TR and PTR going right now. I'm hoping to finish the TR in a week or 2 and then I'll start the Dec PTR. We have pretty much everything booked so the whole waiting will be not waiting. :rotfl:

I've gotta get updated on all your stuff. I'm such a bad, bad, bad DISfriend, but work is kicking my behind this year!

I'm still here, just not a lot of time for commentary. I am loving your posts, and think this was just one the best family days ever! Fun rides capped off with Fireworks! :goodvibes

That is great you are going on another solo trip and you are starting a new PTR:thumbsup2

Thanks--if I could just get the thing booked!

Thanks, TK! We had fun that day!

I agree with you.....Wishes is the best nighttime show Disney has to offer!

:thumbsup2 I agree!

Day 7: Friday, June 4, 2010

The warm June morning led us to one of my favorite rope drops. . .we walked off of the bus and around the corner to see this:

WIthout a doubt, I love entering Epcot. THe music coming in, Legacy, is an awesome opening to the day. We also were heading to dh's favorite attraction. And joining into the one thing all veteran Disers know--the Soarin' Stempede. We stand behind the rope, watching various and sundry characters. Before the rope drops, all five of us are in the ready mode.

The rope drops. We are in the run mode. Quickly, quickly, quickly, we are running. Well, not really, but we are walking as fast as we can.

Quickly, quickly, quickly, we are going as fast as we can to the ride. We get through by 9:15 and then grab a fast pass. Then, we walk across Future World for Mission: SPACE. The girls and I take on the orange side, the boys the green.

When we get off, we decided to look at the wait time for Test Track.
:scared1:Way too long, I'll tell you. And looking at the next FP window time, it's a little while before we can get another one (maybe 15 minutes).

What to do in that time?

We finally got the fast passes, where we had another little situation dealing with a tour group. While the 15 minutes were winding down, I saw a tourguide with the little flag walk up. With a 2-inch stack of tickets. While I was watching, the FP window went from 12:00 then 1:00. By the time we got to it, the FP ticket was at 1:45.

We decided to take those, and then go back of to the land for Soarin' again. But before that, I got this great picture:

After Soarin, we went towards the World Showcase. As we left, once last picture:

Coming up--lunch with Remy?

we do the same sort of plan at Epcot too! We always hit Soarin first, ride it, and then get a FP. We head to TT next and ride it once or twice before it lines up and then after that it's whatever we want. MS isn't a parent pleaser in my house so sometimes we do it and sometimes we don't.

I'll be curious to see if you have Remy..we didn't have him in March!

The monorail looks incredible with the Tron logo on it. :lmao: Leave it to me to notice that, eh?

I'm so interested to see how your lunch goes. :goodvibes

Great update! Sounds like a fun, busy morning. We have stayed at the Beach Club the past two years, so we haven't experienced the Soarin' sprint. That IS a great photo of the Tronorail. I love the colors.

Is it me or do the skies look a little ominous?

OMG that would make me crabby....moving the FP window an hour and 45 minutes?

:scared1:

Wow to Soarin and out with a fastpass by 9:15:worship: That is impressive. It always takes us longer than that to get through the ride. That is crazy that one tour group could move the FP window that much. Can you imagine how long the FP line will be when they come back to use them:scared1: I'm excited to hear about lunch with Remy. We saw him in '09.
