Hello everyone,

Does anyone know how many points are needed to stay in one room at the Disneyland Hotel at DLP?. I have been to the points calculator and it lists the hotel but does not give any points for it.

We are lucky enough to go every Christmas at the start of December for 3 nights and I wanted to include these points when we join.

many thanks

Kath

The points change every year. The 2004 chart in the Vacation Planner only goes through October 30, 2004. You'll need to call MS unless there is a more recent chart on the Members' website. I'm having trouble getting in right now.

Best wishes -

Ok. Finally got in. Early December is "Shoulder Season" for Disneyland Paris.

Sun - Thurs nights are 65 points each
Fri -Sat nights are 91 each.

Reservation Points listed include admission to Dinseyland® Paris and Walt Disney Studios Park® for the length of the stay for the number of Guests up to the maximum number of Guests permitted in the accommodations.

The points for DLP have been going up and up, they are not fixed but negotiated with DLP every year.

It used to be quite a good deal as you got the package with hoppers & breakfast but at 65 points a night it doesn't really make sense. For 180 points you can stay in a studio for 10 days or so!

So if you want to go to DLP every year on points you need a LOT of points if you still want to go to WDW as well!! I would look around for special offers or join the Shareholder club and get 15% off accomodation and some other nice perks...(buy 100 DLP share - there not that expensive - and you're automatically a memeber, check out http://www.dlp.info/HintsInfos/Discounts/Shareholdersclub.htm[/URL]

Thanks very much for your help.

They are very expensive  . The idea of DLP shares is excellent, thanks very much I think thats the way to go. We will keep the points for the OKW.

Thanks again

Kath

As a shareholder you also can have breakfast in the members lounge, which is a nice perk. It has it's own entrance (next to the left luggage) you can get coffee & pastries and then go straight into the park!

See you at OKW or DLP..

JJ

ps. I think it's more than 100 shares though (but they're very cheap) check out www.eurodisney.com for more info on the shareholders club.
