Sorry for the double post. :(

thanks, we always have a great time! Maybe that's why we keep on going back again and again and again...(although I think these last 2 trips were closer together than any previous ones)

As for kids at RPC, I agree with Majestic. My DH & I are childfree by choice, but we enjoy being around all the happy kids at WDW. How would kids learn to behave in nice restaurants, good hotels or other "grown-up" venues if they didn't have those experiences?

Thanks to all for the great tips and advice - "see" you when we get back!

Have a great trip! Wish I was going too! Will just have to wait till May for our Poly trip. :)

WOW!!! Ya'll have been busy planning away today!;)

steveanddonna....Have a wonderful trip and we're sending PD~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~for a concierge uprade!:sunny:

Majestic.....Whoa! What beautiful pictures! I've always loved the WL, but we've haven't stayed there for a couple of years.....just calling my name! And those rooms are to die for!
ACK! More decisions!!!!
Thank you! Thank you!

WoodysRoundup....I agree with Fred.....RPC takes the little ones, too! In fact, Janet2k's pics show little table and chair sets in the CL for the toddlers, as well as, a child's height buffet table!
Food just for the little ones....P&B sandwiches, snacks, candy, juices, milk, cakes, cupcakes, fruits.....with everything a little one, or a BIG one desires!

As for what to book....I will tell you what I tell everyone else.
Book what you can afford now. If that is the AAA rate with the SL or a regular RPC room, do it!"
If the other comes up, then switch it over!

Look at my sig! I sleep around everywhere! ;) :earseek:
(You know what i mean!)teehee!

floridafam....the VIP info is great and much appreciated.
thinking of using that for the June trip, when I bring the BIG GROUP with us!
I think a thread full of this VIP information would be a HIT! ::yes::
Again, thank you for being so kind enough to share this with us!

twinsmomplusone.....Welcome to our thread!:wave2:

TammiMcMan...Hi there! and welcome! Here's some more PD ~*~*~*~*~ for that GF main building!
And as for that medicine thingie...

Its FRIDAY! and after watching the fish swim by its a good thing I am not drinking my diet pepsi right now! *keep calling, calling, calling

I love reading about everyone's plans.. I can't wait for my counter to stop counting! Is it April yet?

I left the wine and cordials on the sideboard. Please everyone, help yourself!

Debbie

BambiTamby,

No problem. I think it's going to be well worth it. We can only go to MK on a Monday and it's going to be very busy. Plus, it should be nice to learn quite a few things from the guide. We have them booked for 7 hours now because the kids are going to need a nap. I don't want them to fall asleep for the Wishes cruise on the Grand One.

We are going to have them pick us up at WL in the morning and go from there.

I'll be filling out the paperwork soon and sending it in. They ask the names, ages, etc. of people in the party, the attractions that are most important to the group, their likes and dislikes, their favorite Disney characters, etc.

If you need any more info, just let me know.

I will definately report on it when we return. :sunny: :sunny:

The suites at WL are nice and a good value, IMO. I'd have to choose a 1br at AKL over a suite at WL. (we'd be at AKL if we didn't have to be near FW on this trip) The 1 br suites at AKL have 2 beds in them and I like my children to be in the same room as us for now. They also like sleeping in a regular bed and not the sleeper sofa. Of course, this problem can be solved by booking the 2nd bedroom at WL but that still doesn't put the kids in the same room.

WoodysRoundup....found these links for you!
Click here for Janet2k's RPC pics!

More Janet2k pics of RPC...

and MORE Janet2k RPC pics!

floridafam...Again, many thanks for the VIP help!
I'll take you up on it, after we return in a couple of weeks!;)
Those AKL suites are nice! We stayed in a room next to the Royal Suite on the 5th floor, and the CM took us thru when the AKL first opened. (We arrived after Janet2k left...she's the first DIS AKL "Lounge lizard"! LOL!)
IT was a gorgeous suite also!

Debbie, thanks for the wine and cordials...

BanbiTamby...Boy, have I EVER been planning away today! :teeth: Guess what...I can't believe it...brace yourself...I GOT THE AAA RATE FOR DELUXE RPC with the help of a very patient girl at CRO who played with my dates for me. Your info. about doing that was SO helpful and I'm so grateful! Who was it that said previously that WDW should be paying you commission for all your trip advice? They were right! :teeth:

Glad to hear about the pint sized accomodations for our little ones at the CL.

Do you think you'll always sleep around, or will you eventually setttle on one place??? Tee Hee. I know I'm always thinking about what I might be missing at the other places I haven't tried.

Hope you're currently enjoying some of Debbie's wine and cordials too! ;)

I love this thread!!!

I want to sleep around too, but my daughter wants to stop at the Poly. :p :p :p :p

And we haven't even stayed there yet!

And congrats on getting the AAA rate!!:Pinkbounc :bounce:

I've been to WDW a lot in the past 12 years, and once I went on my first trip I went down at least once a year. My last trip was around a year and a half ago, and I'm really excited about going back. My parents and I usually stay at Old Key West (they own DVC points there), but we have stayed elsewhere before. Because we couldn't get a room at OKW for one of the nights the week we wanted to go down, the person taking the reservations suggested staying at another resort for a few days, like Animal Kingdom Lodge. I did some looking online and found out a little about it, and concierge perks, like the Sunrise Safari. Now we're booked for AKL concierge March 21-24 and OKW March 24-27. If we can get AKL concierge on the phone, I want to go on the Sunrise Safari one morning. Any recommendations for what else to find out about during our stay or requests to make would be nice. I get to have my birthday while I'm in WDW, always fun. Since my birthday falls around Spring break, I've celebrated in disney world before.

I'm really looking forward to this trip, and can't wait to get back to disney world.

WoodysRoundup, having recently stayed at GF RPC, I wouldn't worry at all about bringing your children. We saw quite a few little ones while we were there, and they fit right in. They have children's offerings in the lounge (of course, we're really just big kids, so we had some of the kid's cookies, LOL) as well as little tables and chairs for them to sit at. While the GF is an elegant resort, kids are very welcome--it's WDW afterall!

BT, I wanted to post a link to my photo album with my BWI garden suite pictures for you to see. I read on another thread that you were considering them if they had concierge access--they do, and the suites are so cute. Here are the pictures:

BWI Garden Suite Pictures

I just couldn't resist the urge to tempt you, LOL! :teeth:

Yeah, it's ME posting AGAIN! I have another ques. for anyone who can recommend specific deluxe concierge rooms at GF. I see that there are two different room layouts. Are there some that are better than others (view-wise and location-wise)? THANKS!

Elisabeth, thanks for the RPC info.! :)

You need to call ASAP and leave a message. You also need to get the email address (you can probably do a search here and find it or call Central reservations). You may very well be too late to get on the Sunrise Safari - it fills up fast and you're going during the Spring Break season!! . I hope not, because it is absolutely fantastic. Also, you need to speak with the Concierge itinerary planners so they can take down all your info like room requests, mention that you're celebrating your bday, request any Priority Seatings - they can do an amazing job for you but you MUST get in touch with them... Good Luck!

ALRIGHT WOODYROUNDUP!!!
Congrats on the getting the room at the AAA rate!
See.....now you know the method behind this madness!

Instead of wine and cordials, I'm enjoying Dreyer's Girl Scout Samoa Cookie ice cream!
I'm going to look soooo beautifuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuul in my new swimsuit!:scared1:

Steffy! Sleeping around, the WDW way, is FUN!!!!:cool1:

ead79...those are so great! I have a confession, I have the BWI cottage suite booked, too!
I did put a deposit down on the RPC, but I have the BWI on hold for two weeks while I decide.
And, I'm really thinking of doing the WL YS as an add-on after we send everyone home on the June trip!
But, I have to call tomorrow and see what I can get for the June trip!:earsgirl:

dizanimator...Welcome to our humble little thread~!
Call ASAP in am at 407-938-4755 for AKL concierge.

My dad left a message last night, the letter we were mailed said they close at 7 but the message apparently said they close earlier. Someone called here this morning, but my mom was on the phone with my dad and didn't want to hang up on him to check the call waiting-he woudn't like it very much. She left a message today after being unable to talk to a person when she called in a few times today. My mom also sent an e-mail down today. If I get up early tomorrow, my parents say they'll start calling at 7:01 to try to contact them.

Bambi...Okay, no wine or cordials for me tonight either...it's reduceed fat chips ahoy...they are SO much better than the original ones! Oh, what have my Friday nights come to ? Oh, I know, the little sweet peas are snoozing away upstairs! :)

ABOUT THOSE BWI SUITES....I have to admit, they make a girl want to change her mind! But, not this year, it's the monorail for us!
