How many lands at MK in a day?

Our first WDW trip, last week of October with extended family (total of 7 adults and 4 kids-age 4,4,2,1). We are doing 2 full days(however long that is with little ones!) at MK and one night for the parade and fireworks. I'm trying to figure out how much time we should dedicate to the different lands. I was thinking 1 full day ofr Fantasyland or is that too much time? Should we try and do tomorrowland in the same day? I'm trying to limit walking all over the park as well and would like to concentrate things as much as possible. I'm keeping expectations realistic and know we won't get to everything....thanks for your thoughts!

I plan my days around my FP and ADR's. I try to keep all those near each other to avoid zig-zagging all over the place.

I think one full day in Fantasyland isn't completely necessary, but I guess that depends on whether or not you want to repeat attractions. I usually spend 2 days at Magic Kingdom every visit. The way I split it up is usually Adventureland, Frontierland and Liberty Square on one day and then Fantasyland and Tomorrowland on the second day. I also do Wishes on my last MK day. I find that its always a great way to end the holiday. And if you do want a good view of the Fireworks but don't want to have to wait in line for hours you could book at Fastpass for it.

If you've only got 2 MK days, I'd do Fantasyland and tomorrowland one day and adventureland, frontierland and liberty square the other.

We always split MK up. We go 3 days
1 day is Fantasyland & Tomorrowland
1 day is Adventureland, Frontierland and Liberty Square

Our final day is exploring Main Street (shops) and hitting our favs again (typically Fantasyland and Frontierland)

We don't necessarily zig zag around the park but we do hit each land at least once during the day. We usually go to MK at least twice over the length of the trip. Personally I can't imagine finding enough to do in Fantasyland that you could last all day; unless you are planning a very short day.

Yep, we pretty much do what everyone does, although HM is the only thing we do in Liberty Square and it is RIGHT NEXT to the IASW side of Fantasy Land so we'll usually hit HM first and then start at IASW, PP, Philharmagic, etc and work our way to Tomorrowland. The next day we'll do Adventure (take the train) and Frontierland.

We don't zig zag either but find ourselves in most of the lands each time. Of course, we stay late so sometimes we hit up Fantasyland again at night...

Thanks everyone! I think we are going to try and do Fantasyland and Tomorrow Land day 1 and then the others day2.

pull up a park map online and look at the attractions and what your FP are if you have them. Make sure you have strollers for smallest 2, you maybe able to have them pull a few power naps, making life a little more fun. Also good walking shoes for all that are going, maybe even take a few evening walks (aka) before you go. if the little people get tired you can always hit a sit down show and they can catch a cat nap
