Yep, us too. We also get a lot of "So those 2 are his and these 2 are yours?" LOL. And I'm so so tired of "So now you are done, right?" Ummm, who said that? What is we want more? We've always said we wanted 7 but now we have been doing more of a "take them 1 at a time" thing when we figure we will just know when our family is complete - whether that be after #5 is born or after #10 is born. LOL.

When we hd DS8 she was all "You know what causes that, are your done right?" Wanted to slap her. she has 3ds 1dss 1 dsd and 2 sgk. Its like the pot calling the kettle black.

I am also suprised by how many negative comments I have received on having a third child. The comments mostly came from those who had two and were done. "Wow, you will have your hands full" "I could never have 3" Well, your not having 3, I am

I agree with location, everyone I know has 0-2 kids.

Yeah, I hate when people say stupid things like "You are crazy!" or "That's it right?"
I just tell them that I love every single moment of it and that we would love more children. (which is true)
I think people just don't think. I do find it obnoxious sometimes though.

I have 2, one boy and one girl. DH never wanted to have kids and I actually was told I'd never have kids because of my severe PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrom). Would love to have more but DH says NO (he has a point, I almost died with both pregnancies). Plus we'd need to get his procedure reversed if you know what I mean. Most people around here seem to have between 2 and 4.

My brother, and let me tell you we are from Ireland (born and raised there), married a woman from Panama, has 2 kids that look nothing like their half Irish. The both have definite hispanic looks and look nothing like my brother. I think people assume they are not his kids. But you can see resemblences if you look at them side by side.

My MIL was trying to be cute at a recent family gathering and said "you do know what causes that, right?" I said "Of course we do, that's why we have so many!" She turned pretty red, I think that's the last time we'll hear that comment from her.

We have 4. 2 girls and 2 boys. We wanted 2 more but I had alot of health problems and had to have a hysterectomy this last year. My DH is the 2nd oldest of 12 children his youngest brother is 6 moths younger than our oldest son. LOL! My poor DH has had baby fever lately as 3 of his sisters have had babies quite recently and 2 of his sisters are pregnant (one of which just had a baby 3 months previous, LOL). We have been doing a lot of baby borrowing!!

I've answered a couple people who have asked if we are done, yet, that we'll be done when we have enough for our own show on TLC.

3 here: DS9, DS8, DD5. We couldn't have children so we decided to adopt. We were just hoping to have one child. We adopted DS8 when he was 3. We thought we were done because we finally had a child. Well 2 years later we get a call asking if we would consider adopting another boy, but they said he comes with a she.

DH and I talked about it and after we met the children we couldn't say no, so our family of 1 became a family of 3 overnight.

We get more comments about that then about being a family of 3.

I love my children but I didn't think about the need for a larger vehicle, buying extra tickets at Great Wolf Lodge because you only get 4, hotels that only accomodate 4. We haven't been a cruise yet because of having to get either a suite or 2 cabins.

Not to be nosy, but did you do foster care or an adoption agency? We would love to adopt, but can't get over the sticker shock!

I have one right now, he is six months old. We are trying for number 2. When I was younger I always wanted 3 or 4 but it took us 14 yrs to get pregnant with #1, I was 35 when I had him and if we get lucky enough to get pregnant with #2 I will be at least 36 when #2 is born. I am kinda hoping the palm reader who told me when I was 12 that I would have 3 kids, a single and twins, is right.

I would have kept on having babies, I wanted 2 more, but my health just wouldnt cooperate. Im the youngest of 9, thats right, 4 older brothers and 4 older sisters. I have always been around babies with my neices and nephews so it was just a normal thing for me to want to be a mommy.

We have 2 DS 5 and DD 3.

We adopted from foster care and since we have closed our home we will not be having anymore children(can't get pregnant). We always wanted two, but every once in a while a part of me still would like a miracle to happen and I get pregnant. DH on the other hand is very done.

We have 2...2 boys that are a about 11 months apart. We tossed the idea of having one more around for a couple of years, but I think we've decided that we're done with 2. DH is planning on getting snipped(lol) this year, so that should do it for us.
I don't feel like 3 kids are a BIG family, I came from a family of 3 kids as did DH, but I don't think that I could handle 3 kids. I really admire those that want to have more than 2!

This is interesting to hear, especially from a POV of a mom of 3. When we were thinking about having #3 I would always think about "practical" day to day things that would involve having 3 kids. Similar to the examples that you stated above, and I would get the most horrible feedback, like that how can I think or put those things above or ahead of having children??!!

We have 4. 3 girls ages 7, 4, and 22 months. And we have a baby boy that is 4 months. I get the "you have your hands full" comment almost every day!
