How many DVC'ers have ONLY stayed at their home resort??

I am just curious?? I know if you have only been members a short time....that would stand to reason maybe. However...are there any members out there that ONLY stay at their home resort and if so WHY? Thanks........

We have been members since 2006. All 4 of our trips since then have been to OKW and I don't see that changing. We love it there!

We've owned at SSR since 2005 ans only have stayed there.

My DW loves it and does not want to try anywhere else.

I am not sure exactly how it happened, but we have stayed every where BUT at our home resort. Maybe this will be the year!!!

We've been members since June 07 and have stayed at our home resort (SSR) once since becoming members--stayed there when we bought, but on rented points. Also booked my Dad there once, so we got to visit when we stayed at BWV. We love it there but also wanted to check out some of the other resorts. We've stayed at BWV, HHI & OKW so far and are trying out BCV this summer. I think the next trip after that will be "home" because I miss it

Not me. I'm a firm believer in trying out new things. Some may only be once, but at least I try!

The last remaining resort is AKV (but we have stayed at AKL). We hope to remedy that soon!

Except for one trip on developer's points that we used at OKW, all of our trips as owners have been to SSR. We really love it there, but we may try some other WDW DVC resorts someday.

We've stayed at OKW other times - but those trips were either before we joined or the DP trip. We like the resort, but usually at least one member of our group has an ECV or a power wheelchair....SSR is easier because of the elevators.

We WILL be using our points somewhere else for Spring Break - we have a one bedroom suite reserved at GCH at Disneyland for my dd's 21st birthday!

We have stayed at all DVC resorts except VWL. We own at BCV and that is where we want to stay.

We've only been members for a couple of years, and have only taken one trip staying on DVC points. But we do expect to stay exclusively at our home resort for a number of years going forward. We bought there because we love it.

Eventually we may try a few of the others, but we're in no hurry at all. VWL is our home.

We bought at BWV in 2005 (even though DH had never stayed there). We have stayed in BW view rooms 3 times and SV once. Our next trip was going to be 11 nights in BW view, but we are now staying our first 2 nights at AKV in a concierge room so that we can do the Sunrise Safari. We have another trip booked for next Dec in a SV at BW. We did a last minute trip for my work last Oct and stayed at the Swan using Starwood points when the BWV was not available.

We love the location of BWV and plan to spend most trips there. We also love the choice of SV and BW view.

Before we bought DVC, we stayed at POR, CBR, OKW, BWI, Cont., off-site timeshare, Pop, another off-site timeshare and WL, so we are not really the stick-in-the-muds that we appear to be. On the other hand, when we are not vacationing at WDW, we are usually in South Maui, just like we have been almost every year since 1992. -- Suzanne

For the moment, we stay at our 2 home resorts. We really, really like each of them but for different reasons and don't have any desire to go elsewhere at this time. I expect we will eventually work our way through all of the resorts. I'm just not in a big hurry to do so.

We've been members for 7 years now and have not stayed at Vero Beach, Hilton Head, SSR and as of yet BLT.

We own at BCV, AKV and Vero and have stayed at OKW once, BCV (many times - at least once a year), AKV (twice since it opened), BWV (once - did not like it - room needed numerous repairs) and VWL (numerous times).

We do plan on staying at Vero Beach and Hilton Head when the kids are older. We are hoping to stay at BLT soon as well.

We've been members since 1993 and have only stayed at OKW! For us, there is no reason to go anywhere else - our home away from home.

I've stayed at almost all of them, but DH would be perfectly happy if he was told he could only stay at his home resort. That wasn't true about 5-6 years ago. That's because when we bought in, although he thought he'd love our home resort, he loved OKW instead, so we did the sell/buy thing so that he could own where he loved. He did stay at another resort (BCV) for a few days once, but that was sort of under protest. He had a couple vacation days, so at the last minute he wanted to join me on a solo trip for a few days. Only thing was, I wasn't staying at OKW, and I refused to change at the last minute. So he "forced himself" to stay at BCV. But I bribed him with a couple of No Way Jose sundaes at B&C, so he didn't mind.

We've stayed at BCV 3 times so far with another ressie this summer. So far we haven't stayed anywhere else. Although I wouldn't mind a stay at BLT or AKV, taking advantage of the 11 month window at BCV ensures we get what we want.(and we all love BCV)

We've only been members for a year and have only stayed at SSR. We love SSR and while we are curious to try other resorts, we just aren't that curious yet!

My home resort is OKW and I have stayed at OKW, BWV, and AKV and have enjoyed them all. Prior to last year, my sister had only stayed at OKW. Last year, OKW was full and ended up at SSR. She like the resort but has been spoiled by the large rooms at OKW.

Member since '94 and except for 1 NIGHT ('cause we had to), we've only stayed at OKW. We visit almost every resort (DVC and non-DVC) most trips but I cannot imagine ever staying anywhere else while at WDW.
