We'll be at WDW March 15th to the 19th (first trip and our honeymoon (delayed from 11/02/02 wedding). On average, how many rides/attractions do you think we could fit in at each park for these days as they are considered "peak"? We technically only have about 3.5 days for the parks and plan to do MK on Sun., Epcot on Mon., and MGM on Tues. Wed. we have until 4 p.m. to do something and figure we'll return to one of the parks.

I am trying to pick our top 5-10 rides/attractions and assume that will be all we'll get to if even that.

Any suggestions? Thoughts? Itineraries?

Thanks
Jeny

Only three sugestions:

1) Fastpass
2) Fastpass
3) Fastpass

Learn all you can about them. Use them as much as you can. You will be able to do all your favorite rides in a day and a lot more.

Have a great trip!

When I was planning our trip back in '99, I read as many trip reports as I could. If you go to mouseplanet.com, you can find trip reports for the same time, and possibly even a couple w/out kids. Many people put times into their reports and this can help to give you a general idea of how much you'll be able to do. For the type of family group and time of year I was "researching", I found that generally, people were able to do about 2 things per hour. If you're doing something like an early entry, you can get a lot more in during an hour...especially in Fantasyland, on the other hand, if you're at a popular attraction at about noon or 1pm, you may find long lines and crowds and can only get one thing done in the hour.

Over plan a little and then you can be flexible when you get there and drop the less important things.

I think I read this bit of info here; Disney sets it's hours based on you doing 14 attractions and a leisurely meal. I don't know how true that is. I haven't counted the attractions we visit in one day. Basically, if the crowds are low, lines will be short so the hours don't have to be long. If it's crowded, lines are long, so hours are longer too. Hope that helps! S
