officially 2 yrs....lurker for 6 months before that.

I remember when there was only one board and sponsors paid $35 dollars to Pete to help keep it running. You could either get a DIS mug or a t-shirt as a sponsor; I got the shirt. In fact, I ran across another sponsor at Animal Kingdom a few years back who was wearing the same shirt!

It seems like ages ago when you look at the boards of today!

I remember the 'tree' style site that Tess mentioned, so different than now. I have been here since about April of '99, but had to re-register in April '00 when I was a moderator and Pete was moving the boards from one server to another and needed some folks to moderate but the transfer capability was not working yet. A wonderful place we all have found here in the DIS.

Three years ago this month I found the DIS!

My DH actually found the DIS while we were planning our WDW honeymoon in 2000. I became obsessed shortly afterward.

So I think I've been here since Spring of 2000...not exactly sure of the month.

Just noticed my sig under my name says April 2000 so that must be right. So almost 3 years.
