How long does it take you to get to WDW?

About 3.5 hours, factoring in all of the different components (drive from home to airport, flying, ME, etc).

It's a 9 hour drive or an hour and 45 minute flight from here in Raleigh, NC. We drive because we like to have the car!:dance3:

Just under a 2 hour drive. Well, last trip took us ten minutes longer because we were stopped by the Florida Highway Patrol for speeding. My copilot (wife) failed to see or hear the police aircraft two thousand feet above us running radar. All I heard was the Trooper “license, registration and insurance card”………………

We are in NC right next the NC/SC border. It is about a 10 hour drive (for us with young kids) with stops for breaks and meals. It is hard getting the kids back in the car when we stop!!! ;)

If we fly, it takes about 6 hours door to door (2 hrs actual fly time)

If we drive, it takes about 16 hours door to door (including stops)

A 2 1/2 drive to the airport, another 3-4 hours at the airport. A 9 hour flight over the Atlantic. 1 hour max to get to WDW.

15-16 1/2 hours for us.

Yikes! That’s disturbing!

It takes us about 9 ½ hours from just north of New Orleans, but maybe I should add on some extra time to avoid hearing those words! Not exactly “Welcome Home.”

We flew once and hated it! We live an hour away from our local airport, and by the time you drive, park, wait, wait, fly, etc., we could practically be there! And, we don’t mind the drive at all.

I will also say that our ability to drive to Disney World was a contributing factor in our decision to buy into DVC.

About 5 hrs door to door.

I live 5 min from Macarthur airport.
I leave 5:20 am for a 6:30 flight.
Land at 9am in Orlando.
Pick up my luggage go to ME....I am usually all checked in hotel by 10:30:cool1:

Takes us 2 hours from Dulles Airport to MCO-non-stop. We only fly or nothing at all. We take 4-5 trips a year!

We fly out of Portland, OR...so it's about a 10 hr day for us by the time we get to the airport early, have a 1-2 hour layover en route, and 5-6 hrs of flight time. I'm so envious of those of you that can just hop in the car and can be there in few hours. :worship:

40 minute drive to the airport.. just over 4 hour direct flight to Orlando. Actually doesn't seem too bad when we can snag a direct flight, other wise 1:15 to Montreal, 3:30 from there to Orlando. Hopefully only a 2 hour layover or so.

It takes us about 5 1/2 hours by air, including plane change, airport to airport. Driving would be 26 hours. We go as often as the frequent flier miles allow, unless Southwest makes us a good offer.

We live in NC. We usually drive but have flown at least 5 times. It takes about 1 hr 45 mins to fly. We have driven several trips and it takes average 10 1/2 to 11 hrs. Once we made it in 9 1/2:thumbsup2 DW was driving and she and other NASCAR drivers have a lot in common;) Seriously, we made good time as we limited stops and just had great traffic flow, plus no construction, time of night, etc. Hoping for another one like that real soon.

Does she run moonshine :rotfl: :rotfl:

Flying from Grand Rapids takes at least 4-1/2 hours because there are no non stop flights to Orlando out of Grand Rapids. Driving 2-1/2 hours to Detroit will save you about $100 per person round trip and you can get non stop flights to Orlando taking about 2 hours and 40 minutes of flying time.

Driving is about 1262 miles from our home to Disney. When we drive we usually start out on Friday night after work and get about 4 or 5 hours of driving in, stop for the night and then drive all day Saturday stopping for the night near the Florida border and then finishing the trip on Sunday morning. Total time depends on driving conditions and how many stops we make and for how long.

There is a non-stop flight from Grand Rapids. One, just one flight, and it's on Northwest. It leaves at 2:45 and gets in to MCO at 5:30. The return flight leaves MCO at 11 and arrives GRR at 1:45. I don't think it flies on Tuesday's. I'm taking it at Christmas this year, and I paid $234 with 20,000 frequent flyer miles. It is running about $460 now, not during Christmas, and the times change in the spring, for the warm weather.

We drive 1 hr 45 minutes to the GR airport when we fly. Driving is 1295 miles for us, around 24 hours of driving time(we try to stop every two hours or so--we know every potty stop between here and Florida!):yay:

We drive to the airport which is 2.5 hours
Waiting for flight to take off 2 ours
Flight time 2.5 hours
Arriving and transport to resort 1 hour.

Total 8 hours.
