How long does fresh broccoli last for?

I'm heading to the campground this weekend (Sat) to visit my brother & his family.

I plan on bringing a broccoli salad. I've made it a couple times before (been a few years though) and know that it's better to make a day ahead so the flavors can combine together. (so I'll actually be making it Friday). I know when I've made it in the past, I've bought the broccoli either the day I was making it or even the day before.

But I picked some up today and now I'm wondering if it'll keep until Friday?

I've kept fresh broccoli in the fridge for at least a week. You should be fine with serving it on this weekend. Have a good time.

I'd say it should be ok but you should be ready to head to the grocery in case it starts to spoil. Overripe broccoli tastes very bitter.

Should last a few days. Might want to put in on ice in a cooler.

I've seen broccoli placed in the produce bin, and there's often a little bit of ice. It's typically transported on crushed, packed ice almost like snowballs.
