How long did it take for the pending review to go through?

I'm excited for the upcoming cruise and I'm wondering how long this process usually takes.

Forever! (that’s what it might feel like). I think mine has cleared just days before a cruise. No obvious nor stated reason.

My check in date was Aug 30th (midnight Aug 29th). I got the "Check-in action needed" email on Sept 9th so I made the adjustments needed and got the "Check in finalized" email on the same day. So 10 days from pend for me.

For us, it takes almost up to sail date...could be stress-inducing, if we didn't know that was normal. We must have "suspicious faces". HA

It took a few weeks for my photos to be approved on my last 2 cruises. As long as you were able to finish check-in and get a Port Arrival Time, you don’t need to be concerned about the pending photo review. If you do get an email notice asking for another photo, you can send it. If you miss that email, you’ll just need to have a photo taken at the port.

Some cruises, a few days. Some cruises, a lot of days. No rhyme or reason that I can see.

My husband's photo never did clear before embarkation day. Turns out he's very pale with white hair and it apparently didn't like the contrast (or lack of). They just took his photo at check in.

Honestly- do not worry. It can take forever! Bring all of your required documents to your cruise check in-you have to anyway. They will retake photos etc as needed.

One time not until three days prior and other times 1-2 weeks after submission. I wouldn't worry about it; it's meant to streamline the process, but if it's rejected, they'll deal with it at the check-in. As long as you know that your passport or other documentation is valid, it's just an administrative process that can speed things up, but it's not a barrier to getting on the ship.

We have had it happen in a day, our most recent cruise I am not sure if it ever cleared or not…

Submit your docs and don’t worry about it. As long as you bring what you need to the port, it might take a little longer, but you will be just fine.
