How long are Volcano Bay.

We got a cabana rental while we are at Volcano Bay. How long should we plan on probably hanging out there? If we get there earlier in the morning, would planning to leave around 5:00 cut ourselves short too much? I got a 7:45 dinner reservation at the Cowfish, and I'm wondering if I should change all of our plans around to try to go there a different day instead?
