How long are the lines with free dining?

We're going down on September 20th with the free dining plan.

We've already got our ADRs and agendas set for our entire stay. One thing we haven't factored in is how long it will take to get seated at the restaurants.

Last year we went to the Coral Reef and even with our ADR, we were waiting in line more than an hour...and that was without free dining.

Thanks

We were there in 05 for free dining - and will be arriving on 9/20 for this year's free dining. We didn't experience any longer waits at the TS than we had on our other trips. Based on our May trips this year, it seems like the waits are longer, even without free dining.

All depends on the time you made your PS's for. If you made them around the time the restaurants open, you will sail right in. After 6 is when things tend to get backed up, as they can only seat you as fast as people clear out. A few groups that linger can really back up an evening.

We just got back from WDW on Friday. We waited about an hour at Coral Reef and a good 30 minutes at O'hana's.

We were a party of 3 - our ressies at CR were for 6:50 and 6:20 for O'hana's. The nice thing at O'Hana's is the food is brought to your table very quickly. Wish the same could be said about Coral Reef.

We just got back yesterday and our longest wait was 20 minutes for Raglan Road. Most were 5-10 minutes, but we were a party of 3 and booked either very early or very late to avoid crowds (basically we either ate at 5'ish or 9).

People really tend to linger at Coral Reef, watching the fish. I have to admit, we have done it ourselves, ordering a dessert and after-dinner drinks even when we were not really hungry/thirsty. Sorry to anyone we made wait, but we have had our turns being the waiting people too!

We returned last Saturday. We were seated within 10 minutes of our ADR's at Cape May, Le Chefs, Crystal Palace and Boma. Restaurants were crowded, but we did not wait to be seated.

We were just there three weeks ago...not free dining though. The longest we waited for a table may have been 10 min at Chef Mickey's. Most waits were about 10 min. Sometimes we would show up early for dinner too...if my son was whining about wanting to eat we would go maybe 20-30 min early and still not a bad wait.

We were there the first week of free dining and I did not encounter any long waits. Even being (very) late for O'hana's, we were seated within 15 minutes.
My ADR for Coral Reef was for 4:20 and our wait time was about 5 minutes!

I always make my ADRs for the earliest available time so I don't get stuck waiting for a table.

Here now

We had an 1130 for LeCellier and were the first names called.

11:40 for Sci Fi and got in in about 5 minutes.

Got right in at Crystal Palace for an early dinner time

ESPN doesn't take ADRs but walked right in -

Having a great time.
