Ummm, I think you misread my post, my job is LIKE a fireman's. I spend a lot of time doing little but waiting for a fire to break out.

I'm a senior database admin for a large financial firm. Do a lot of pro-active work to keep the systems running.

I'm another of those strange people that loves working the midnight hours. Been doing so since June of '84. I'm in the type of job where I have to know a lot and be able to respond when a problem arises, we call it a firemans job.

So I spend a lot of time reading the 'net and watching my systems run. having fun on the DIS and getting paid to do it.
