Hey all late nighters! *hugs*

The meet was great! I haven't had so much fun in ages! We spent more time on the road than we did there but it was worth it. Oh so many fun stories. They made us sit outside at outback. One couple seemed to come and want to sit outside and I think they were talked out of it by the wait staff because of us! lol I think most of the wait staff had to come and have a look at the crazy people too. Seems like they all poked their head out the door. Anyway it was fun and crazy and I wish I get more chances to meet such wonderful people!

Btw, Paige is on a road trip back to Texas. She'll be a few days getting home.

And I'm here for the night. We got 8 - 9 inches of snow today. march 16th and we get SNOW??? Oh well, my snowblower I bought 3 or 4 years ago has really earned it's keep this year.

Yep, we drove through snow through most of Virginia yesterday, and saw about 10 cars that had slid off the road. 2 turned over. One slid off right in front of us. Traffic backed up and we could only go 20 miles an hour. SO we didn't stop for dinner and then decided to just stop for the night at 9:30.........which had become 8:30...........by then we were in Tennessee. We still have about 12, 13 hours to go today.

Hiya Peeps !!! FInally got home... flight was great... but Southwest had alot of delayed flights I cannot beleive when I saw the snow... had to dig the car with my bare hands a foot and a half of snow Friday But am not complaining... when I left PHL it was like 73 degrees and was sooooooooo ecstatic with 37 by the time I landed at Midway had the 20-30 degree weather and was awesome... and now this ... God is so good to me.

Am glad Myst and Paige had a greet meet... The meet in IL was awesome too!! I had so much fun !!! But now time to unpack and get ready for the big suitcase for April ... in less than 4 weeks am going to be flying out PHL again !!! And i have off till Tuesday nite... go back to the Mill by Wednesday !!! Ok time to catch up with the threads at Dis

My Dad had to fly home yesterday because my grandfather passed. It took him all day to get from Miami to CT. But, he's there and can't understand why anyone would want to spend winters up there!

It's okay, really. I was sad the first two days because I just wanted to be up north with the rest of the family. He was 90 and lived his life in pretty good health. He was only sick the last month or so.
I was so lucky to have a grandfather for this long.

Ants Welcome home. Holy crap! Digging out your car with your hands. That just sucks. At least the day after it happened we had a shovel! My body is still annoyed though. It can't figure out sitting on an outside patio one night and having 5" of snow/sleet a couple of nights later.
