We are going Sunday, May 23 - Saturday, May29.

Here is my current itinerary:

Sun - MGM
Mon - MK
Tue - AK & DQ
Wed - Universal
Thur - Islands of Adventure
Fri - MK
Sat - Epcot

My main concern is the Friday at MK. Is it going to be excessively crowded?

Anything you would do different. We are not onsite, so won't be going to early entry.

I've been at MK the Friday before Memorial Day and it wasn't bad at all. However, I think some of the Florida schools are letting out a little earlier than usual this year. That said, even if the parks are a little more crowded, I don't think the crowds will be that bad. The longest line we waited in was about 20 min. for Splash Mountain.

It's possible we'll be there Memorial weekend too. Any other observations?

We'll be there that same time frame - we're part of the Florida schools that gets out on the 21st.

We're doing
Sun - Blizzard Beach
Mon - MK
Tues - AK and MK
Wed - off day (pool, dinner at Whispering Canyon)
Thurs - MGM
Fri - Epcot
Sat - pool, DTD, leave for home

You might want to allow time for another visit to DQ. My DD's and DS love the place. One trip never seems to be enough time to do it all.

We'll be there the same week, too. Can't wait. The week before Memorial Day last year wasn't very crowded.

We were there at the same time last year. Left the day school let out here. I was pleasantly surprised at how light the crowds were. I was expecting it to be more like the summer months. Now only was it not crowded, but for Florida the weather was even pleasant. Not too hot at all.

Can you please tell me how the weekends before Memorial Day week-end is? I will be there for two weeks and am not sure what to do on the weekend. Many years ago we where told most people either come or leave during the weekend so they are too busy to do the parks and that monday is usually the busiest.
I posted on the universal borad but no one answered yet. We plan to do two days universal and one day Sea World. Any advise one which park to do during the weekend?

I have been the past 2 May's the week before Memorial Day. The first time May '02 was Monday through the Sunday before Memorial Day. The beginning of the week was great. The weather was awesome and the crowds very light. I think the longest we waited was for Splash Mountain that Friday in the Magic Kingdom. It was in the afternoon and I want to say the wait was around 20 to 30 minutes. When Friday arrived so did everyone else. The heat also picked up. I couldn't believe the difference in attendance. I won't stay through the weekend unless I am leaving.

Now this past May '03 was even better. We left on Saturday the weekend before Memorial Day weekend and left the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. The crowds were very light, but the weather was lots warmer. I think the longest we waited on any ride was about 12 minutes and that was only 1 or 2 times. It was my greatest trip!!

May is a wonderful time to go to Disney. The beautiful flowers, the nice weather, and the light crowds make for a great vacation. May is my favorite time of year to go even compared to Christmas time at Disney World. I really feel I am on a summertime vacation. I can't wait for May '05. I am having withdrawls not getting to go this year, but I have to take a different kind of vacation as my roommate says to Los Angeles. I am sure I will be miserable!! haha:)

Hope this helps!!:)
