How is SSR at Easter?

Just wanted some opinions on SSR on Easter morning. We've done Easter morning at Boardwalk and just loved being there and wanted some info on the activities at SSR. Right now our reservations for that week are to be at Boardwalk (studio) from April 5-8 and then on to SSR (1 bedroom) April 8-13. We're thinking we may want to move our weekend nights to SSR but I'm hesitant to give up the Boardwalk studio just yet. After our last trip we decided we might not want to change resorts but changing our reservations means more points and no Easter morning at BW :sad2: . As of right now SSR has plenty of availability for 1BR Easter weekend. Thanks for your help.

I've not stayed there during Easter, but in Vacation Magic they had a photo of the children doing an Egg Hunt on one of SSR's lawns. You will see lots of rabbits :Pinkbounc

I do agree with you on the moving. It does get old and I try to avoid it as much as possible. Its one of those things that is easier said than done. We stayed 2 weeks straight at SSR and each day I would ask myself if I would have rather packed up and moved today and each day I was glad it wasnt packing up and move day and I relaxed and found something else to do.

We will still split stays for now on some trips, but I can see a time when we will not.

We stayed at SSR over Easter and LOVED it! We were in the candy scramble photo that was in the Vacation Magic.

They had lots of activities! Candy scramble, pool games, DJ, crafts, etc. My girls had a really good time.

Thanks for your responses.

Liferbabe --- yeah, the moving thing is something we really don't look forward to. I think it may be worth a few more points to avoid it.

Jenny --- sounds great and very similar to what we experienced at Boardwalk Easter 2005. Great candy scramble and we ended up spending a few hours at the pool with the pool party. We figured the parks would be wild that day so we just went in the evening to MGM for our Fantasmic dinner package.

Any more input out there?
