We decided to take a trip in March to celebrate my 30th (plus this snow is really getting to us). When I called CRO and asked for a room using the AP rate I was told the GF was sold out (for the code) and the only Poly room available was lagoon view (really wanted concierge). I got $314/night. Is this a decent rate for 3/19 - 3/24? This is our first time at the Poly, we couldn't resist after reading so many good things about it on these boards.

We will be traveling with DD 3 and 5. The main idea of this trip is relaxation. Will the kids like the pool?

Whoa! And you were able to get the AP rate for the Poly that week?Hope you BOOKED IT!

That's around the same time we're going!
Big Time Spring Break Week! PEAK, PEAK, PEAK PRICES!

AP garden rate is $250, so you're rate sounds right!

We really wanted Poly concierge, too, but, we lucked out and got the YC concierge instead!(which is $390 w/AP)!

Feel lucky you got such a good rate at such a wonderful resort!
the kids will LOVE the volcano pool!
And so will you!

Have fun!:sunny:

Thank you! I thought it was a good rate, but the CM told me that rack rate was $350 which did not sound right to me. I thought, "Oh well, atleast we are saving a little." Now I see that rack rate is $505!!!! Wow, we did get a deal. I am sooooo excited, didn't think we were going back until January!!

You'll have a wonderful time, believe me!
POLY is on our favorite resort list!

Here's a clippie for you....

Our family will be at the Poly in a LV room the same time as yours (March 19 -27). My DD's are 2 1/2 and 5, and we think that the Poly is probably the best resort for families with young children. We have requested a room in Tahiti; the rooms are larger and this building has great views of the MK, and there is also a small private beach in front. Maybe we'll see you there!!:earsboy:

It seems like Tahiti has one of the best views of the lagoon, but it appears far from the main building. Is it worth the walk? I think I would like to be close to the restaurants and the pool but maybe the view of Wishes is worth the walk. Any of the experts have a suggestion of what I should request?

Kinley'sMom - Maybe we will see you there, our girls are the same age.
