How is Citrico's

How is Citrico's? Is it a formal dining place? Can you substitute side dishes? Is this a must dine?

Citricos is a formal dining experience, comparable to California Grille, Artist's Point, Jiko's, and Yachtsman Steakhouse, except it feels more formal because (a) the room is smaller (b) it's in the Grand Floridian. It's my favorite restaurant in WDW: the service is outstanding, as marvelous if not better than the excellent cuisine. I have never had a bad dining experience here; it's no trouble getting a PS.

The chefs are most accomodating. Go to www.wdwig.com and check out the menu, which changes seasonably.

We really like Citricos,however IMHO there are other places better if you want "must do" dining!!!

We ate at Citricos during our December trip and my family is begging to back there again. We all loved it. Yes, it was a little formal (for Disney) but well worth putting on the khaki pants and a collared shirt for!

I just dined there earlier this month. I loved it! It is a bit more formal, but I think the only requirement was no tank-tops. I'd at least wear khakis and a collared shirt like another poster suggested. I wore dress slacks and a button up shirt and felt properly dressed.

If you decide to go, I'd suggest the lobster bisque!

Of course, it's also closed on Monday and Tuesday, so keep that in mind. If it's a "must dine" place I'm not sure--if you are being forced to dress up just to eat there, probably not.

Citrico's atmosphere and service are wonderful.

The food is not a must do for us, it was ok. The wine list is wonderful.

If you want a really great dining experience try Artist Point, Jiko or Flying Fish (for non-park restaurants).

Love Citrico's. It and Jiko are our two favorite places at Disney. Great food, wine and service. For us, it is a "must do" every trip.

Glad to hear all the positive comments!! We are going there in a couple of weeks. We like to try one new restaurant per trip. This time, its Citrico's!
