hello everyone,
Im going to orlando tomorrow and I want to try out some rides yet Im kinda nervous. I can handle rides like forbidden journey, jurassic park, ripsaw falls, space mountain, big thunder, etc. and I actually really enjoy them. I wanted to know how scary and intense are the following rides:
-escape from gringotts
-the mummy ride
-expedition everest

thank you:)

Escape from Gringotts, not scary because I can handle the rides with screen effects easier than true heights, but leaves me kinda queasy

The Mummy Ride, love love love this ride, not too hard to take

Expedition Everest, I can go on this but have to keep my eyes closed (DD tells me when to open them to see the yeti and some cool wall hangings)

I'd say you'll be fine, based on the others you like

None of those are intense.

Escape from Gringotts: Great ride..it's pretty amazing. It's not really intense at all, it will get you more if you're prone to motion sickness.

The Mummy: it's not the Hulk or Rockin Rollercoaster, but it's not Big Thunder. It's a great medium coaster. Be aware that you do go backwards for a little bit.

Expedition Everest: that's the most intense on your list simply for the reverse helix and the drop...which either aren't bad. It's smooth and the scenery is great

Thank you so much for the information and the reply. I think I definitely will ride all of them now, I feel much more calm now

I echo the other posters. I rode the Mummy for the first time last year and I was surprised by how much i enjoyed it! It was second to Gringotts. I also love Expedition Everest - it's my favorite of the Disney coasters. I agree it's the most intense on your list, but the ride is fairly quick. Come back after riding and share how you made out. Have a great time!

Yess! I definitely will, thank you so much!

If you can do forbidden journey you can do the three above

Agree with this, also. Gringott's is a walk in the park if you do fine with FJ.

The Mummy is somewhat similar to Space Mountain, in that it's a roller coaster ride in the dark. Not as intense as Space Mountain, IMO. It does go backwards for a short distance, but only a slight drop...no turns or anything.

Expedition Everest can be a problem for those with motion sickness issues. It's a great coaster that my son and I love, but my wife cannot ride it. She had to lay down in the floor of the gift shop for about half an hour after getting off it the only time she's rode it. Definitely a weird feeling on the backwards/turning part.

I haven't done the others on your list but EE was quite intense. It was fine until it shot backwards and seemed to never end, especially the dark part. I'm quite brave on rides but I really didn't like it.

Didn't do Mummy or Expedition Everest.. I am the "bag holder" for those, while the other 3 in the family love it!::yes::

Hello everyone! Im gonna be honest with you, I kinda freaked out with the mummy so I didnt ride it but I rode gringotts and its one of the best rides I've ever been on. Thank you so much to everyone for their opinions it really helped! and Im hoping to ride everest tomorrow
