How hard to get a beach cottage at VB at 11 months?

We do own points at VB and are hoping to stay in a beach cottage someday. Anyone know how hard it is get one at 11 months? Are the beach cottages available for cash to non-members, and if so, are they allowed to book them earlier than the 11-month window?

I just made ressie's for a 1 bedroom 11 months out no problem. I sure would try for the cottage now.

Cash guests are not allowed to book earlier than the 11 month window.

If you are planning on the Beach Cottage for one of the more popular times of the year for VB, call day by day for your reservation as soon as the 11 month window opens.

I just booked a cottage for May at 10 1/2 months out. I am wait listed for 2 of the days. I forgot that the week we wanted was Memorial Day week. We are going to OKW for a few days and then headed over to VB. I got 2 of the 4 days I wanted and will hope for the wait listed days. I should have planned better but this time I didn't. I won't do that again!!!
