How far in advance do you start packing?

We are not leaving until next June and I have already started getting things together. We have a Disney duffel bag. I start buying little things like travel size toothpaste, chap stick anything that keeps me thinking of Disney. I need help. What can I say.

I start packing about 3 months in advance - DH does his about 1-2 days before we leave. I can't wait that long - I pull the suitcase out and put it in our extra bedroom and just add things little by little as I pick them up. I keep a packing list in the suitcase and cross off items as I add them so I know exactly what I have and what I need. Since we are just about three months from our trip, the suitcase got pulled out this past weekend!!

I have a box in my room which i have been putting stuff in as i buy it. I plan to start packing in about 2 weeks for our trip which is 50 days away. I with probably pack my suitcase about 4 times coss when i need a disney fix i will go pack my suitcase again.

I love to get ready for disney. I am already making autograph book pages and picking out shirt designs. I am going to be picking up t-shirts in different sizes for our group anyday from now. I am starting a list and everything. My folks, however loves to wait til the last week, which gets on my nerves, and my bf always packs for trips the night before, and the REALLY drives me bonkers, lol.

Yes, I need help.

I always keep my toiletries bag stocked because we go away often. That way I never have to repack it. But, I do start a couple of months before putting things we will use. I bought a "boatload" of ponchos a few years back and pull a few out every year for our Disney trip. I also have some of my favorite Mickey, Goofy, etc. clothes so I like to bring those with me.

I do keep a packing list on the excel program and I just print it when we travel. It has everything on it from flat iron, phone charger, camera, camera charger, batteries, disposable water camera (for the pools & water parks),
yada..yada..yada..

I'm going to WDW next June/July and I will probably start packing the beginning of June. I am at university and my exams finish at the end of May, so after that the only thing I'll absolutely HAVE to do is pack for Disney haha! What a wonderful thing to look forward to after a year of hard study! So I guess it will be about three weeks before, but if I was still in uni/working up until I went it would probably be a bit longer because I would do a little bit each night.
