How far in advance can you (or should you) book a cabin?

We would be going either the week after T-giving 2010 or the first week in May 2011. I know I can reserve a golf cart a year in advance, which I'm assuming you can do without an accomodation reservation? Also, does anyone know definitively what size the Murphy bed is? Full size bed may be a dealbreaker for DH, I'm really hoping it's a queen :) TIA

I don't think I have ever seen the cabins all filled. When I'm trying to get campground ressies, I think I have always been offered a cabin counter-offer. So I think you can wait until pretty close to your trip time. But, if you are making a room-only reservation you can make ressies 499 days out from your departure date if you make them over the phone, so why wait?

...not a queen. It is quite comfortable, though. DH & I slept on it this past trip, and it was fine. My rather picky MIL (she has back problems & went on a different WDW trip several months after a knee replacement), gave it a thumbs up as well. DH & I sleep in a king size bed at home, but the full size Murphy bed was fine for our stay. HTH!

Thanks so much for the replies. DH is on board! Other than the bed issue FW feels like a perfect match for us. It does really help to know that someone else who has a king at home could tolerate it! Thanks again.
