From our home in Muncie, IN to WDW, it is 1,005.5 miles by auto, according to yahoo. We have never driven, but always fly from Indy. The flying miles is 829 and takes about two hours.
Can't quite work out the distance but I live just outside of Eastbourne which is a seaside resort on the South Coast of England. Travelling time is about 90 minutes to Gatwick airport then about a 9 hour non stop flight to Orlando.

1.5 hrs, which doesn't matter if you don't have a car that will make it over there!
From the job that I worked last month to the DTD parking lot... 4.9 miles! (or was it 5.1?) was i a fool to turn down the permanent position? the houses right there were pretty expensive.
I am so dumb...I tried punching in my address and a WDW address on mapquest to figure out the distance. It wouldn't even try to figure it out, I guess because there are no roads from Hawaii to the mainland US!!
However, if I remember from old Mileage Plus statements, it's over 10,000 frequent flyer miles!
1037.47 miles Total Estimated Time: 17 hours, 30 minutes
And believe it or not, it's virtually on interstate highways. If I counted correctly, there are only 2 Stop signs and 10 traffic lights between our house and WDW. If I could only go 1037.47 miles on a single tank of gasoline (and no potty breaks).
